I keep thinking this! very frustrating
fuck!
This is also where the saying "the left can't meme" comes from: all latter-day left wing thought is built upon elaborate, convoluted, contradictory and self-evidently false ideological beliefs, which can only be maintained through continual abstract and arcane word games, furiously insisting that the world is not as it is, so there is no objective, commonsense reality being appealed to as the punchline. A single image, stripped of the convoluted dogma, actually ends up communicating the opposite of their intent, so they usually have to write walls of text in explanation, which defeats the whole point and structure of a meme or a joke.
“use ai or fall behind” why are you acting like asking copilot to write an email is a particularly sought-after skillset
sex is a distraction from your true purpose in life which is to go to the aquarium and look at the fish and go "wooooooaaah.... fishies". cmon guys we all need to lock in.
Israeli soccer hooligans are notorious for constantly making rape threats and yet they never seem to be chastised by the NYT, the Economist, or the UN or anything really.

A "gate-blocking knife-cart," or 塞门刀车, an ancient Chinese siege-defense. Works as one might imagine from both its name and appearance; wheel it into a gate or entryway and slam it into enemies attempting to attack through the breach point. Earliest mention of the knife-cart comes from the Spring and Autumn period (771-476 BC) though it was used the most during the Song dynasty (960-1279 CE)
