//Sorry for the lack of activity on the blog! I just got back from my trip to Portland. Unfortunately, I am going on yet another trip down to LA and SD to meet friends and attend AX. I will be back late this week, and will reply to things then!
Twisted Fate said: Ay little fella, aint seen you round these parts in sometime. Actually cant recall the last time that we met.
Teemo answered: “Oh, you’re that one card dealer everyone talks about! Yeah, haven’t seen you around a lot.”
"Say, why don’t we talk over a cup of nice honey mead at an inn? Nyeheh, I’m sure we both have our fair share of tales to share."
The Card Master’s head was fully tilted down. Otherwise he would not be able to see the yordle. “That would be, It has been a long time I reckon though since we’ve crossed paths even on the fields. Back when that institute was strugglin for anything and we had so few champions.” Nostalgia laced his voice as he casually flipped a card in his hands. Fate was one of the few who knew Teemo for a long time. But never had he gotten over that sickly sweet laugh the yordle could do.
It always sounded so joyous and pleasant like a child who had just been discovering things i likes, but just.. or some reason he never could trust it. Seeing as that same laugh always came from him when he rampaged around the fields. “I reckon we do, but I do not drink anything with alcohol in it, throws the game ya feel me?” laughing softly to him self he would soon sigh. “But I aint go no problem with havin a sip of water while you enjoy your mead.”
"Ahh...the good old days. Welp! At least it's a lot more lively now!" Teemo laughed. It really had been a while, now that he thought of it. A little too long, maybe. He could barely remember anything about his prey Twisted Fate! Regardless the Yordle looked up to the man, pouting slightly at his words but still happy.
"Awwh, well, fine by me! A lot of champions just shuffle off when they see me at the bar. I wonder why," he purred. "But it's always good to have a drinking buddy! Or any buddy for that matter! 'Keep your friends close' or something like that, yeah?"
The Swift Scout hopped a little, gesturing down the hall towards the exit of the institute. "Well, we might as well be going now! There's a inn only a few minutes walk from here and they're closing in a few hours!"
"There’s no way I’m the only one walking around these halls." Tryndamere muttered angrily to himself. "There’s no way I’m the only one not in battle."
"And you, my good Barbarian King sir, are right!" Teemo clapped his paws, having heard the angry mutterings of the man as he skipped down the halls. He was done with his matches for the day, and the young Yordle was starting to grow bored.
"You're not the only champion in these halls right now. I'm sure there's more, probably up in there lodgings." He gave a mischievous grin. "Why? Something the matter? You seem a little angry!"
"Yes, I am! I’m very excited and I hope I get summoned by somebody capable," she said with a short laugh. She began to sweat a little bit, noticing a strange aura coming off of Teemo. "I sure wouldn’t want to lane against you," she added.
Yue swallowed hard at the yordle’s advice. “Well, I’ve certainly been trying! Some people are just so hard to get along with,” she joked. “I haven’t met too many marksmen, so let’s hope that doesn’t happen!” She scratched her head awkwardly as she couldn’t help but to feel a relatively cocky, hostile vibe in the room.
"Well, sometimes the easier champions to get along with are the most dangerous!" Teemo reached into his bag, grabbing his last Rainbow Cake. "You never know when they have ulterior motives, nyeheh!" For a moment light glinted off his teeth, revealing the sharp fangs of his mouth before he bit down into the sweet paste.
"Buuut I'd say don't worry about it too much. I mean, you're still a newbie at the institute--just show your stuff on the battlefield and see how it goes from there!" He laughed, nibbling on his food. "Say, how's the green tea coming along?"
Yue smiled at the thought of everything being made slightly miniature, like a house for stuffed animals. “That sounds lovely!” she sighed happily. Her moment of ignorant bliss was popped once Teemo asked her if she was okay.
"Err, yeah! I’m fine! Just a little nervous to be around such a well known champion is all!" That wasn’t necessarily a lie. "I’m pretty new to the Institute, so I haven’t gotten to meet many of the other fighters!" she added for security. "It’s pretty…cool…meeting them all. They’re all so diverse!"
"Nervous?" The sinister grin on his face only grew as he heard her words, slowly nodding his acknowledgement. "You are a new champion to the institute, Miss Yue?" he asked, feigning a mixture of surprise and curiosity. "Oh, how pleasant! That means I will be seeing you on the Fields of War!"
"Diverse we are, but here's a tip..." Teemo purred. "Try not to make enemies with most of us! We're pretty scary sometimes--I hear some of us like to use their rivals as target practice during free time." He clapped his paws together, laughing.

Teemo’s eerie personality sent shivers down Wu’s spine. How can someone be so small yet so terrifying. But he didn’t let that stop him from laughing at Teemo’s monkey jokes. No one ever made jokes about him, it was always the other way around. “They must think I’m too perfect to make fun of” is what Wu would tell himself.
Before he could think of something funny to say back the bartender finally came over. “What’ll you have?” the man said, surprisingly calm. Wu figured maybe he was used to seeing champions if Gragas and Teemo come here. “I need a room for a night, and I guess I’ll have an order of boar bacon and eggs with some honey mead.” He replied, hoping Teemo wasn’t messing with him about the breakfast too. The man just quickly jotted down what Wu said and turned around. He proceeded to grab a key from the stand and pour a golden liquid from a nearby barrel into a mug. He put both in front of Wu and added, “Your food will be ready in a bit.”
"Thanks." he said as he began to sip from the mug. It wasunlike anything he had ever tried. Somewhat sweet, and it gave him a warm feeling deep in his stomach, despite being ice cold. "This is so weird." he said, staring into the mug, hoping to understand what it was made of.
Teemo watched quietly as the Monkey King ordered his food, casually deciding to move a seat closer to his fellow champion. Perking up as Wukong drank the golden liquid in his glass, the Yordle smiled.
"Weird?" he asked, taking more sips from his own drink. "Don't tell me the Monkey King of all champions haven't tried alcohol before?" Teemo grinned and laughed, whole body shaking with each hearty chuckle. "What's so weird about it?"
[Should the rest of us champions be worried about the ludicrous amounts of mushrooms you are leaving around? Or am I just overreacting?]
"Nyeheh...no need to worry! They're just specimens from my personal collection. You'll be fine as long as you don't accidentally step on them."
"Oh, it’s just craters and rabbits and an occasional fox. Not nearly as exciting and diverse as Runeterra!" she responded anxiously. The fuzzy little yordle in front of her was way too cute to be a cold blooded killer. She forced herself to focus on how fluffy he was rather than how many people he’s probably killed. Yue turned to grab him a canned green tea, a popular drink at her shop. "Green tea is not my favorite, but I think it compliments the cakes well," she added.
"So," she started as she handed him the drink. "What’s Bandle City like, if you don’t mind me asking?" The place sounded like a scene from a child’s fairy tale, with all those fuzzy yordles running about.
Teemo simply nodded as he acknowledged her words, reaching into his bag for a second cake. "Huh. I would've thought the moon was more exciting. Oh well." He bit into the thick paste of his food, smiling at the pleasing taste.
"Bandle City's pretty cozy! Everything's Yordle-sized, thankfully," he chuckled, motioning to his surroundings. "At least, I don't need to stretch myself to reach anything. It's not as massive as Demacia, but it's very homely."
"Say, you sound a little nervous." He finished the cake, licking any leftover residue from his fingers as he looked up to the Moon Rabbit. Teemo grinned, an ominous aura radiating from his being as he tipped his head. "Is something the matter, Yue?"

Wukong flinched at the high pitched voice he associated with being used as a dart board. He hesitantly turned towards the the seat next to him and saw none other than the furry little yordle that used to give him nightmares. “Oh Hey! I never expected to see you here either!” he said while forcing a smile. “I barely ever come to Piltover, and I’ve never really been in a place like this before. Is the food any good?”
Teemo shrugged. "I just come here for the honey mead, but I've heard their breakfast special's pretty good! Their boar bacon and eggs are to die for," he purred, a content smile on his lips as he sipped from his over-sized glass. The act was almost comical, both hands wrapped around the cool container to lift it, the glass itself half the size of the Yordle's face.
"Though I guess their fruit salads are pretty good too. You can order extra banana."
Yue smiled and bowed curtiously. “I’m glad you like them! I do make them myself by pounding the flour with my mallet!” She imagined the food that the yordle called “rations.” It sounded like military food, which couldn’t possibly taste good. She shuddered a bit at the thought.
"I have chilled green tea and oolong tea," she responded, pointing to the mini fridge. "Which would you pref-" She stopped mid sentence as the yordle introduced himself. Teemo? THE Teemo? The cold blooded, merciless killer that she had read about was this…small cute creature? Her eye twitched in a mix of confusion and fear. "Uh-uhm…I’m Yue, of the Rabbit Tribe on the moon," she said with a hasty head bow.
He had noticed the sudden stop in her speech, his brow raising slightly in response as he dug into one of the Rainbow Cakes he bought. His lips twitched slightly upwards, an almost-smirk on his expression. Did she recognize him? "Yue? Well, it’s a pleasure to meet you!" he grinned, tongue roughly licking off some rainbow paste stuck on his teeth. "Moon Rabbit, huh? First time I’ve heard of it. What’s it like on the moon?" Teemo asked, finishing his first cake. "Oh, and some green tea would be nice! I heard it tastes good."
Wukong approached the Inn and “tavern” that he overheard Gragas speaking highly about to Jayce. The sounds of yelling men and smell of sour grapes made him doubt how great it was.
He didn’t expect Heimerdinger to talk his ear off for so long about those damn goggle’s he was getting repaired for Yi and now he was stuck in Piltover for the night. “Whatever, at least this place has a bed and food.” he thought to himself. He entered and carefully weaved between the clumsy people as he approached the counter. He sat down and waited for the man at the counter to finish with another customer.
Honey mead was Teemo's favourite.
He sat joyously at the counter, the stool raised much higher so he could rest his elbows on the wood as he drank. The taste was sweet, a refreshing treat after matches in the Institute.
His ears flicked curiously as he felt someone take a seat near him, looking up from his drink to spot a furry face only a chair away from him. Without hesitation the Yordle waved, grinning.
"Didn't know the Monkey King visited this tavern!" he yipped, drinking more from his glass. "Fancy seeing you around here."
