mordaret, I thought you might get a kick out of this... Here in San Antonio, there's actually a place called Big Bob's burgers... It been around longer than the show, but anyway, there also exists a local brew called ALAMO beer. A few days ago, the owner at Alamo beer held a promo event at Big Bob's. For a moment, it was like I was living in Jim Dauterive's head!!! I took pics as proof :)

New pendant made tonight with sterling, copper, and a jade stone.

Been practicing my metalworking skills and I'm finally happy with the outcome. I used tiger eye and 12mm faceted amethyst and set them in handmade copper bezels. I feel like I'm finally ready to start setting them in sterling.

Took a trip to the motherland last week. Went to the temples, stayed at the zócalo, saw the Mayan and Aztec relics at the anthropology museum, and of course visited both Frida and Diego's homes.
