Okay so this is the final test shot and this is what the project is going to be.

I’m going to use an artificial light source to bring out the subject’s features (particularly their eyes), have them sit in a white background (which I didn’t do here but I’ll figure out how) as well as a white shirt to make sure nothing distracts from what their features say.

I’m not going to offer any direction on what sort of expression to make. I’m going to position every person in about the same way, but the rest is up to them.

The idea is that when you take every distracting factor out of the photograph, all that’s left is the person, in the most raw way possible. I’m not entirely sure if I’m going to allow makeup yet.
