blitz kids never die
To the band, crew and everyone else I’ve met along the way: Thank you. Thank you for the ridiculous amounts of love and support for my photography over the past couple of years. Thank you for the friendships and for being like a second family to me. Thank you for the memories that will stick with me forever. Thank you for believing in my work from the very beginning. Thank you for all the countless laughs and beers (my liver doesn’t approve of the latter). Thank you for blessing my ears with your music. Thank you for being the nicest guys I’ve had the pleasure of working with. It’s been one hell of a rad adventure and I will always be grateful for everything you’ve done for me. It’s been an honour, @blitzkidsofficial. Good luck with your new adventures and see you in the future. Blitz Kids Never Die.
Last night, Blitz Kids played their last ever show at The Dome in Tufnell Park. I saw them for the very first time when they had a support slot for Canterbury at Dingwalls, on April 9th 2014. Unfortunately for them, some twat stole their shit and they had no gear. So they borrowed a guitar off big sixes and did the show acoustically. It was bloody brilliant. I then saw them at Slam Dunk 14, then at Northampton’s Roadmenders where I met Mitchie for the first time. I also met them all properly for the first time that night. Then I saw them at The Garage, October 9th 2014, then Boston Music Room for free on April 7th 2015, one of my favourite ever shows. We got to hang out with them for so so long and I got the funniest picture of Jono i’ve ever seen. Then for the very last time, The Dome, Tufnell Park. October 10th 2015. I was emo right from the start all the way till they went off stage. Thank you so much Blitz Kids for everything you’ve done. It’s been a long road together and in glad I got to be part of it. BKND x (at The Dome, Tufnell Park)

I have a lot of nostalgia relating to Blitz Kids. They were the first band I ever took photos of and essentially what made me realise that I wanted to do music photography as not just a hobby but a...
