There was something wonderful about creating a life for oneself, mostly after things fall apart.  It was easy to fall into a routine, going day by day, as long as Danny didn’t get upset. 

She still hadn’t learned to control her powers, not that she knew  where to even start. So this left her in a state of unfazed, unemotional, machine. 

Though she did hear about what was happening in the world. Which only added stress to not mess up. Whatever those alien people were, she wasn’t one of them.  She was just a teen who messed up, built a stupid machine that gave her a power, and killed her only friend. 

                    “Sorry,” 

Danny had been wrapped up in her  own thoughts she had forgotten  she was pouring coffee for someone. Quickly grabbing a cloth so it wouldn’t end up on the women. 

                    “Is there anything else I can                       get you?”

          Danny shifted on her feet, she gripped           tighter, she had been instructed to get           them. No one told her that she wasn't           meant to be there.

A slight shock had spread upon the blonde’s features when she saw the table start to freeze. However, it was not that new of a thing for her, but still she thought she might had to warn the other who seemed to cause this frost.

                    Upon seeing the other’s reaction, she bit her                     lip unsure if she might had said something wrong.                     “You okay?” she asked softly and sat down by the                     table.

Her body stiffened at the sight of the other women, Danny forced a nod unsure what else to do or say. Watching her sit at the now - cold table Danny wasn't sure what to say. 

                    "Fine." She hoped the table would defrost faster.                       "--Are you?" Her voice was smaller than she                      thought it would be. But the blonde was staring                      at her which only made her nervous.

Also, to anyone jumping against Jemma for having a ‘racist’ reaction, may I remind you she has been infected herself? And her ‘terminate it’ logic isn’t so far fetched. She literally jumped off a plane because she was willing to sacrifice herself rather than infecting others. This ‘for the greater good’ has been part of her all along and it includes herself.
