jason grace again is not boring!! he was unfortunately a child soldier which i think a lot of people forget.. he was taken from his family at 2 years old the poor baby didnt even have a childhood.. jason grace became praetor at around 14-15 it was non stop pressure :(( also when he got introduced in tlh he didnt even know himself!! he wasnt boring he was LITERALLY trying to find himself.

people always talk about how 15 yr old percy gave up immortality for annabeth but completely forget annabeth did the same thing for percy at 13!!! girlie had her priorities straight from day 1

i love the parallels in house of hades with annabeth and percys fatal flaws. They got stuck in tartarus because Annabeth’s hubris made her think she defeated Arachne, and Percy’s loyalty made him fall with her. Meanwhile, they escaped because Annabeth had to realize she can’t be the best and do everything herself, letting bob take the lead. And Percy had to leave bob behind denying his loyalty.
