mmmmm ok so ive got a theory, i think its already consenus when i say the cover chain for each character gives insight into their character (eg. ness, blue rose for kaiser ego....etc.) SOOO in light of our boy kira i think the design is interesting, perhaps the gold color indicates how he was "japan's golden boy" (before blue lock of course) or maybe his family was super rich and 'bought' his way in or used their money to get kira into soccer or even back into blue lock side b program (therefore it's intersting why Kira's eyes are gold colored too, maybe his ego is money or fame) and maybe why his chain looks like gold bars...but that's just a theory, a blue lock theory.
