EOS Crystal lip balm (New Fall '17)

Its innovative wax-free formula (for weightless hydration) contains a blend of 5 nourishing oils such as shea, avocado, coconut oil, etc... My thoughts ?! As promised, the balm did feel weightless after application compared to other eos balm I bought in the past. No grey-ish film nor residue left on my lips which i loved ! Also the peach-hibiscus smell is absolutely divine !! Packaging is nice as well.  However, I did feel the need to reapply often to keep my big lips hydrated. Also, expect a weird greasy/sticky feeling at first application. It goes away by the second application. I never was a frequent user of eos lipbalms, as I never felt they were hydrating enough for my usually dry lips. EOS clearly improved that with their new crystal formula, but I believe there's room for even more improvement. My final score for the new EOS Crystal lip balm : 3,6/5 !!

Skin&Co's Truffle Therapy Face Toner

I discovered this super toner in April's Ipsy Glam bag. As soon as I got the email with the preview of my products of the month & saw I would receive a toner, I got super excited !  I looove face toner. One of my essential beauty products. My beauty routine doesn't feel complete without it. 

Skin&Co's "Truffle Therapy Face Toner" is full of powerful ingredients such as truffle (!), rose, calendula & rosemary. It takes away dirt, dead skin and bacteria to help prevent those annoying zits we all hate. 

After one week of using this toner day & night, I cannot deny that my pores looked way tinier ! That some powerful stuff right here. Also, my skin was so much smoother & had a brand new glow. Did I mention it smells like heaven ? 

Skin&Co's "Truffle Therapy Face Toner" is without a doubt one of the best toners I have ever tried.

First of all, before I go on with this quick review, I’d like to thank Influenster for sending me this complimentary gem to try out & review !!

The dusty rose color “Lolita” is super cute. The lip liner is ultra pigmented so one stroke is usually enough. The absolutely love the fact that the formula is not drying at all & glided perfectly upon application. It stayed on for most of the day, no touch-ups required !

I applied the KVD Everlasting Lip Liner in “Lolita” with the KVD Studded Kiss lipstick in “LoveStuck”. I’m gonna need to try a few more colors

Im really impressed with this lip liner so far,  Kat Von D Beauty delivered once again! !!!

La Capital Tacos, Montreal

Récemment, je suis retournée dans l’un de mes restaurants préférés dans Chinatown, nommé LA CAPITAL. Non, je ne vous parlerai pas de "chinese food". Ce resto offre un menu typiquement mexicain dont quesadillas, tacos et j’en passe !!

En entrée, j’ai commandé de la guacamole accompagnée de chips de maïs maison (les chips sont à volonté ! miam !). Elle était parfaitement décorée d'une genre de salsa froide.  Un incontournable!

Ensuite, j’ai mangé les Tacos Ribaye (de délicieux tacos de boeuf AAA grillé) cuits à la perfection à chaque fois !

Finalement, pour satisfaire ma soif, j’ai opté pour un verre de Caipirinha Verde, un cocktail riche en saveurs et rafraîchissant à souhait !!

Le personnel est toujours amical et courtois. Le rapport qualité/prix est excellent. Par contre, pour éviter les files d’attentes, je vous conseille d’arriver assez tôt, car l’endroit est petit et se remplit rapidement.

Même s’il est idéalement situé dans le quartier chinois, ce trésor caché de resto, saura vous transporter directement au Mexique, comme si vous y étiez !

À essayer et adopter absolument !

Trust Fund Beauty LIPGASM Gloss

I discovered Trust Fund Beauty via one of my Ipsy glam bags last year ! This #lipgasm lip gloss was one of the 5 products I received for the month of January and I as very excited to try it !

The gloss provides remarkable shine, without all the stickiness. I hate glosses that are sticky & heavy. No complain about that, so we’re off to a great start. My lips tend to be on the dry side and I was satisfied with the moisturizing effect of the product. Bonus perk : Trust Fund Beauty LIPGASM IS a totally vegan and cruelty free beauty product !!

Very pleased overall with this gloss. However, I would have loved for the formula to be a little more pigmented. I tried the « Blame Game » a Ipsy Limited Edition shade as shown in my picture below. Perhaps the other shades are a bit more pigmented, but I would have to try them !
