Late afternoon at Yellowstone National Park, you know, when you’re done for the day...ALWAYS keep that camera ready! Swipe through to see the grizzly and her cubs make their way through the trees. They were moving fast so I anticipated a clearing where they might be visible, little did I know they would decide to come right to the road where I’d stopped! The last video clip shows how quickly they kept walking in the road. A ways back on the road behind me, photographers who’d gotten out of their cars on foot to photograph the bears were still scrambling, tripods flying, to keep up. It got crowded quickly and I left the congested area, ending up in the perfect spot - just me and my camera and the bears! My tip: don’t stop where everyone is - sneak ahead in the direction where the bears are going and you just might get lucky.
