Getting a member of Congress to slap the bag... Amazing to watch. 

On a personal note, kinda disappointed in myself for applying to an internship with the DCCC. That’s not the kind of political system I want to continue to foster. Though, if I do go to DC this summer, I’m for sure sneaking into a swanky Johnny’s Half Shell fundraiser. I can talk bullshit while slurping down free oysters and overpriced cocktails.

I love Cory Booker, I do, but if he wants to go far in his political career and inspire a new generation of public servants, he needs to shred the Democratic talking points memo the moment he receives it. 

He’s stumping for Hillary, which is great because if she’s elected, he’ll get a cozy cabinet position... But the Democratic party needs an overhaul just as much as the Republican party needs one. The D’s are too politically correct it makes me sick, and the R’s are stuck in the fucking stone age. Both of them need to face reality. This political establishment shit is such a turn off. This is EXACTLY the reason why after April 26, I cannot wait to run to town hall and change my party affiliation to Independent before the November election.
