the difference with the way fans and media talk about drivers like alonso and hulkenberg vs lewis is exhausting and so heavily rooted in racism. like alonso and hulkenberg get an entirely free pass despite wading thru mud for the past decade without a glimmer of success... their presence on the grid is wholly unremarkable and yet they slog on, given caveat after caveat for their lack of success and their contribution to the sport inflated. and that’s FINE for everyone apparently. lewis… who is fighting for so much and shows every single weekend how bright he still burns gets weekly retirement chatter. why? bc he might not reach the levels of success he had before? he’s the only person in this sport who must prove he deserves his place in it every single weekend and must do so with a trophy. despite having more trophies than every other driver in the history of the sport. despite having a sprint win this year and a race win last year. still he has to prove he deserves a place here.

Please don't get mad at me, Team LH. Having seen Charles suffer through Ferrari for all these years, we've been through the wringer ourselves. The comments that were made by max and his team today are actually so scary... They are (passively) threatening other drivers and the whole sport ist watching...

We all know how max behaves if he feels treated wrongly. He becomes dangerous and now he's even been enabled by his team to show this kind of behaviour.

Hopefully people start to see him for what he is and has always been...

uhm so.... I wanna comment on some things because this post (not the article) feels kinda weird...

1. It's not your ( @stalinslastsoldier ) place, nor any of ours, to dictate what someone might find offensive. "Nothing to be offended by" is kinda invasive behaviour.

2. How could you possibly know, what was or wasn't implied? Ben is known for making kinda off-limit remarks, I don't even know why there would be the need to compare this type of behaviour to rappers at all.

3. There's nothing professional about making shady comments like this. If you wanna give a professional guideline then why in earth would you make a comment that could potentially be offensive to someone? Why take the risk, why not just bite your tongue about that part.

4. Making Lewis responsible for the potential racial debate because he held somebody accountable , who has ACTUALLY made a (at best) weird comment, is beyond ironic...

You'd rather call out Lewis for speaking on something thats potentially problematic than think critical about said comments to beginn with. That's crazy.
