My name is Lu, and I go by They/She. Everyone is always welcome on my blog! You can send in asks about any Bloodbound characters you ship yourself with, any headcanons you'd like to submit, or maybe some cute imagines! However, this blog will mostly be used for me to gush over Adrian Raines and. Self ship. As the blog is named lol

A/N: hehehe first full fic and it's Angst. I love chaos.
The day had been horrible. First thing in the morning, the sink was leaking in the kitchen and had flooded the floor overnight. Next, the coffee machine was broken. Next, the car had trouble starting. Next, he arrived late to work and immediately had to go into a council meeting.
The council meeting went as nicely as one could expect. Baron being a sadistic maniac, Lester being a lonely incel who preys on women, and Priya causing yet another loud argument between everyone about her murders. Vega just added onto the flame growing in Adrian's head, with backhanded comments about his behavior.
Upon arriving back to his office, he had stacks of paperwork to sift through. Most of the rest of his day had been spent sipping on mediocre coffee, reading through and signing papers he didn't care for, and going into meetings with several business owners trying to get some money from him through partnership. By late afternoon, his head felt like it was going to explode. He felt like he was going to explode. He glanced at the clock.
3:32PM
Avery's school ended at 3.
He was late. It would take another 15 minutes to arrive. He cursed under his breath and shot out of his seat. He dug into his top drawer, grabbing his keys. He stormed out of his office, locking the door behind him. He rushed into the elevator, pressing the basement parking button aggressively. He tapped his foot impatiently against the elevator floor, as it seemed to take forever to get to the parking level.
Once the elevator landed, he ran to his car. He hit the unlock button on the key and went to open the door. Click. Locked. He hit the unlock button again. Click. He groaned, his temper running thin. He shoved the key into the keyhole of the driver door and opened it, almost yanking the door off the hinges. He got in and started up the car. He drove out of the parking lot, sliding his seat belt on.
“Why is there this much traffic at 3?! Businesses around here don't let their workers go until 5!” He drummed his fingers against the steering wheel. He was trying his best to keep a level head, he swore he was, but the day had just been eating at him. He checked the time.
3:52PM.
“Damn it…” He felt horrible. At this point, Avery was probably back inside the school, having to wait in the office or in a classroom until he showed up. If he doesn't show up soon, they'll call Kamilah to come get her instead. He swerved around a car going below the speed limit, and turned down a smaller back road. He sped down the road, going well over the speed limit.
Just after 4, he pulled into the school parking lot. He stepped out of the car and walked his way to the door. He pressed the call button, and waited for an answer. No one came to the door. He hit the button again, pressing a little longer. He stood. He waited. Nothing.
“What's the point of this button if no one answers it…” He shoved his hand in his pocket, pulling his phone out. He dialed the school office and waited. Before the final ring, someone finally picked up. A woman's voice poured out.
“East Manhattan Elementary School front office, this is Lorraine, how can I help you?” Finally.
“Hi, this is Adrian Raines. I'm here to pick up my daughter.”
“Mr. Raines…” Some typing is heard. “Mr. Raines, you are over an hour late. You are aware we have a late pickup fee, right? If you're this late multiple times we'll have to have someone else be her daily pick up.” Adrian's eyes twitched.
“Yes, I am aware. That's why I'm calling to be let in so I can pay that fee and write the excuse as to why I am late.”
“Well, Mr. Raines, you can push that button by the front door, it will buzz in the office.”
"I tried that. Twice. No one answered.” He grit his teeth.
“Okay, sir, there is no reason to get snippy. I'll send someone to let you in.” The phone clicked. Adrian sighed. He tried to keep his voice and tone level. He stared at the door, waiting. It finally opened as a teacher stood there. He nodded in thanks and walked inside, making his way to the office. He looked around, spotting Avery sitting with another kid on a phone. He smiled and waved at her, but she just pouted and turned away. His heart ached.
He stepped up to the desk, pulling out his wallet. He took out $30 and set it down. He grabbed a pen and signed Avery out, writing the excuse as to why he's late next to her name. He nodded to the receptionist and walked over to Avery.
“Come on, ladybug. Let's go home.” He offered his hand to her. She ignored his hand and grabbed her backpack. She stood from the seat, waving goodbye to the other kid. He sighed. He walked her back out to the car. She walked ahead of him. She slid into the backseat of the car, tossing her bag in.
Adrian gave her a scrutinizing look. “Don't throw your bag, Avery. You'll break it.” He got into the driver's seat and started up the car. As he drove out of the parking lot, he looked at her in the rearview mirror. “How was school, sweetheart?” She shifted her face away from him, looking out the window.
“Okay…” He drove down the road. “Did you have fun at recess? Any games you played with your friends?” Avery ignored him. He gripped the steering wheel tighter. “Avery, I'm talking to you, baby.” She crossed her arms.
“I don't want to talk to you.” Adrian's chest felt tight. He had upset her.
“Sweetheart, talk to me. You'll feel better, I promise. Just tell me about your day.” He tried one last time.
“No! You were an hour late! I thought you forgot about me! You probably did! You only care about that stupid new baby!” Adrian pulled the car over, putting it in park. He turned to her, his anger boiling over.
“Avery, that is enough!” He snapped. “You don't know what I've been doing all day. I know you're mad, but if you'd just listen, I'd be happy to tell you why I was late!” He glared at her. “I didn't forget about you. I don't just care about your little sister. I don't ever want to hear you call her stupid or talk like this again, do you understand me?”
Avery looked at him like a deer in headlights. He never yelled at her. Never. Within her 10 years of life, he had never even spoken to her like this. She leaned back in her seat, hiding her face in her jacket hood. “Yes…” Adrian nodded, turning back in his seat and driving the car back on the road. The ride was silent.
Avery peeked up, shaking a little bit. “Daddy?” She sniffled.
Adrian didn't look back. “What?” He grumbled.
“I love you.” He froze a bit. Her voice was shaky. He scared her. He told himself he would never yell at her or do anything to make her fear him, and he did it. He broke the promise he made to himself, all because he couldn't contain his anger. He was normally good at dealing with his anger.
He failed her.
He pulled into the garage, shutting off the car. He stepped out and started to walk to Avery's door. Before he could open it for her, she forced it open and began rushing to the door. He followed after her.
“Avery, sweetheart, wait. I'm sorry. I didn't mean to yell at you. Come here, let me hold you!” She ran up the stairs and into her room, locking herself in. His heart shattered. She didn't want to be near him. She wouldn't let him hold her. He felt like a horrible father.
I did some more edits of bloodbound-selfship's beautiful family, and they told me some more lore about them.
Avery is Half-Vampire, since Amy was full mortal when Avery was a baby, but had to be Turned when Aurora was born, but the sun doesn't effect As much as Adrian before he took the serum.
Amy and Adrian have baby Aurora when Avery is four. She's blond, compared to both her parents and sister, who have black or dark brown hair.
Aurora is full vampire at birth, and She does have sun sensitivity, but her eyes just stay blue for most of her infancy. When she's a little older and discovers her teeth are growing and uses her mouth, she struggles to keep her fangs in.
As a result, she burst a lot of her teething toys as a toddler.
Avery adores her younger sister, but she does tease her lovingly as they grow up, and Avery eventually dyes her hair blonde in her Emo girl phase when she's a teenager, going through several phases before settling on the Softcore style.
As with most of my edits, Most of the child/baby models are from the Royal Romance/Heir.
The edit of Adrian is one I did for an earlier artwork of my OC and him together with their baby.
Avery Raines is a total Daddy's girl, and she's nearly three years old; a totally sweet little angel who looks like the best of both her parents, Amy and Adrian.
Very shy but loving, Avery is usually found showing extra love to any animals, but especially Sylvester, the cat named because she insisted he looked like the cartoon.
She adores wearing dresses over leggings or trousers, especially in her favourite colours Pink, Purple or Yellow and needs at least two or three naps a day.
Although she is human, she does seem a little interested in blood more than the average toddler, and is allergic to Peanuts.
Adrian adores how she's like his little shadow, which he encouraged, often carrying her around in a papoose when she was a baby.
He's very protective of his daughter, though she's a little force of nature just like her mother, and frightens him often with her antics, accidental or on purpose.
She loves it when he carries her, which he also adores to do, even more than spoiling his little Ladybug.
He calls her that as a nickname because he was feeling depressed, sitting in the shade with her when the small winged creature landed on his hand and little Avery got upset, not knowing what it was.
When he'd explained that it was a Ladybug, and she'd made him laugh, the nickname stuck.
She belongs to @bloodbound-selfship, and they have been amazing to me, allowing me to ask random questions all centred around our love for the Bloodbound Universe and the Love Interest Adrian Raines as I write my stories on A03 and make Fan edits using the Choices Assets Database about him and my own Trans OC, the short and sarcastic PA, Ash Lee Davenport.
The Assets used to make her are mostly from The Royal Heir books, especially the Pink and Golden-Yellow Corduroy dress and bow. The only thing that I altered from her outfit was the bow itself, which was paired as an accessory for that dress but looked too light to match the Dress and the shoes.
Her hair comes from the reused model, named Hispanic_Child_Cheerful, simply because I thought the hair from the later Royal Heir books looked a little too young for her.
She specifically has Adrian's eyes instead of the light blue ones that come with the Caucasian Toddler/Child because it was significant to her character that Avery has Adrian's eyes.

I don't normally take requests bc it takes me like 10 years to start, but I wanted to give this a try :) I'm a little nervous since I'm writing from a POV I'm not too familiar with, but I did get help from the person who requested this.
Ash belongs to the requestor @will-is-full-of-woe :)
---------------------------------------
Ash sat at his desk outside of Adrian's office. After finishing up some work, he decided to take a break to play on his phone while Adrian had his meeting. He had been feeling a little nervous that morning, as his and Adrian's relationship had progressed faster than he was expecting. They've gotten a little close since starting the job, and he was worried that Adrian wouldn't except him when it's time to come out.
A notification broke Ash's train of thought. A text from Lily. He smiled a bit as he tapped the notification.
Lily: Heyyyyyyyyy doing some business stuff?
Ash: Not at the moment. Thought I'd take a break. What are you up to?
Lily: nothing much, really.
Ash: really? No zombie game?
Lily: nope. Feeling a little burnt out. Have you talked to Adrian yet?
Ash: uhhh
Lily: Ash. Come on, dude. You said you would tell him today. He deserves to know, you two are getting closer.
Ash: I know, but I'm nervous. What if he doesn't accept me?
Lily: you're getting yourself all worked up, Ash. Doesn't he donate like millions every year to LGBTQ+ organizations?
Ash: yeah, but he could be doing that to get more love and public attention.
Lily: or he's fully supportive! Or maybe he's apart of the community like us. You'll never know unless you do it.
Ash: I'm just so scared he won't accept who I am.
Lily: trust me. He will. I believe in you.
Ash: and what if he doesn't?
Lily: I'll punch him in the throat. You know I won't let an asshole hurt my bestie!
Ash: haha. You're the best, Lily. I'll go tell him. Talk to you later.
Ash pocketed his phone and stood from his seat. His legs were a bit shakey, but he calmed his nerves as best he could and made his way over to Adrian's office. He knocked, the sound feeling louder than normal.
"Come in." That deep, smooth voice. Adrian. Ash took in a deep breath and walked in. Adrian looked up and smiled. "Hi. Do you need something?"
"Uh...I needed to talk to you about something." He closed the door behind him as he walked further into his office. He walked in front of Adrian's desk, fiddling with his hands. He looked around for a moment, collecting himself. "Adrian. I've been working here for 6 months so far, and we've gotten to know each other a bit more since my initial hiring. But...I haven't told you something really important." Adrian raised his eyebrow, nodding lightly. Ash watched him for a moment, before ripping off the bandage.
"I'm trans. My name is Ash. I am a man." Adrian stared at him for a moment. Ash's heart was beating slightly faster, trying to fight the nerves. Adrian nodded.
"So you'll be needing an update on your files? I can have that arranged. You'll receive a new nametag for your desk, your name and gender will be changed in our documents." He sat up, typing on his computer for a moment. Ash's eyes widened slightly, but he soon relaxed. It's safe. Adrian is safe. He is safe here.
"Yes. That would be great. I haven't changed my name too much. It's just Ash now. Lee is my middle name." Adrian smiled as he typed a little longer, before leaning back in his seat.
"Your documents are processing. Thank you for telling me, Ash. It means a lot."
