        Who is Aervin Tyrellian?  

       “My name is Aervin Raisa Tyrellian, a Champion of the Blood Knight Order and a stalwart sword turned against the enemies of Quel’thalas.  I have endured through the betrayal of my closest allies, losing those I care for most, the torture at the hands of my nemesis, nearly losing my soul to the shadow and more battles than I can possibly keep track of.   When others would cry out and give in to the pain, I steeled my nerves and bottled it within.  I am a warrior, a soldier, a paladin, but above all else a killer.  I take the lives of those whom would in turn take mine, those I care about, or would stand between Quel’thalas and her glory.  Expect no ground to be given, no mercy to be offered and no sympathy for those whom would draw against me.  For I cannot afford to lose lest I leave those I love behind without someone to stand guard over them- someone to protect them from the horrors of war, someone to shed blood in their names so that the hands of my children may stay pure and their souls unburdened.   My faith is tried and true, wavering only to become stronger for it is my shield against the darkness.  I have few years left as the decadence of my mind, body and soul becomes progressively worse with every new scar I carry.  But that time will be spent to it’s fullest creating a brighter future for my family and race.  My name is Aervin Raisa Tyrellian, and to stand against me is to sacrifice your life.  Vendel’o eranu talah, help me forget Death.”

(( Deathstalker Kellach Silverarrow, present day.))         Aodan confirmed my suspicions about the lurking uneasiness that’s been steadily growing in the pit of my stomach for the past several days.  I’ve been unable to sleep.. Soris’ medicine would work, but even then I fear the dreams- or more accurately the nightmares, that would hound me as they do whenever he is upon my mind.  I can’t stop thinking that if he were the one behind those recent murders.... 

     I have to remind myself that it wasn’t always like this, that -he- wasn’t always like this. That there was once a time where I considered Silverarrow to be more of a brother than any blooded kin could claim.  But somewhere along the line he changed.. both of us did, now that I think of it.  For a hundred and twelve years I’ve known him, and yet.. I feel as though I knew three different Silverarrows during that time.  

But when did he become synonymous with sinister, dark intent?

    ((Kellach Silverarrow, eighteen years ago.))

    We had left Kellach to mourn in peace, unable to take the sight of one of our strongest and most stoic members reduced to little more than trembling and tears.  We had failed Alivari- let him run off into the Crow’s trap, and now he lay dead in the arms of his older brother.  There was such silence.. a heaviness in the air that none of us dared disturb.  

    When Kellach emerged from the room several hours later, we saw the difference in his step- the hair he’d cut short to remember his brother by.  Never before have I seen such a volatile mixture of rage, anger and crushing sorrow- not during the Fall, nor in my travels as a Knight of the Order.  Kellach was ready to throw his away his own soul, his happiness and his future, all in the name of Vengeance.  I would a happy woman never to see another one of my friends devote themselves to the path of darkness like that again.

         Kellach Silverarrow, Captain of the Gray Ravens. ((Over a century ago.))

     Long before the Forsaken, before Si:7 fucked up his head and then betrayed him, before the death of his wife and before the Fall that seperated the Blades.  Even before the Band of the Iron Blades, there was the half-elven ranger- Captain of the Gray Ravens and the mentor to a young, foolish Aervin who ran away from home at the ripe age of twenty.  My brother, in everything but blood.        Most of the Sin’dorei I know are well over the age of two centuries, and looking back upon my hundred and thirty seven years.. Within a single century most of the human friends I knew had lived their lives to the fullest and passed on of old age, and utterly changed the most dear of my companions to the very core.  I find it hard to ask myself... how one can live for so long, and bear to wake up each morning.
