âAs do I. We are all so lost.â He sighed. âSo very lost.â
ââI know. Itâs justâŠI donât know where to begin, my love. The darkness will claim more of us if we try to fight it.â
âEither way, it seems like we lose. Fight or no fight.â He stepped closer to her, placing a comforting hand on her shoulder. âBut we will be together through the thick of it.â

âI only donât play well when the other person touches my stuff....â
âLook. Iâm really sorry. What can I do to set things straight?â
There was always a catch. Despite the demonâs offer being something useful, Azrael wasnât sure she wanted to make any sort of bargain with him, or give something of herâs up. Not that she was above having demons help her, she just liked to tread carefully.
âA little something like what? I appreciate your offer to help clean up, but I gotta know what sort of something youâre expecting in return.â
Her voice was rather neutral as she spoke, suggesting she was actually interested, but definitely not impulsive.
Darius was a demon who knew what he wanted. Everything had a different price and for this, he would ask for one simple thing. The warrior in him never gave up the idea of trophies. It was always enjoyable to collect them.
âGot my heart set on an angel feather. Care  tâpart with one lil feather? Thatâs all mâneeding.â
âNot mine. Some people were being overall dicks.â
âWhat are you going to do to fix that?â
When Iâm hurt, I shut down. I turn into a total sarcastic bitch. I shut off my emotions, and act indifferent towards everything even though it might be killing me inside.
And Iâm sorry //Â these-fading-scars (via hefuckin)

ââI justâI donât know what to do, Micah. You and I both know that with the darkness unleashed, we can not defeat it without the other angels and father.â
âWe have little choice. There are so few of us left and I fear even more will fall to the darkness. We canât count on father returning.â

Gin was not a fighter. His crimes never evolved past burglary. He left the fighting and assault to other people. Given his lack of fighting skills, it was no surprise that he was now having the crap beat out of him by a biker gang. What was the use of being a demon when a motley group of humans could walk all over him? He spat out blood as he landed on the floor. As a biker stepped on his arm, a loud snapping made it clear his meatsuitâs arm was broken.Â
Could this day get any worse? Damn. Why did he think that? Of course it would!
Az crossed her arms over her chest, trying to make heads or tails of what had just happened. Heaven had told her there were demons in the area, yet only one stood here. The angel didnât even sense any others in close proximity.
She sighed. She could just follow orders and leave this one alone, or go after this one too. ButâŠthat wasnât how Azrael rolled. He hadnât done anything, so she wouldnât attack.
âDo you happen to know where I can find the others?â
Darius never did anything unless he was paid for his work. Why do it for free? But if there was one "redeeming" quality about the demon, it was his loyalty. Once payment was in his fist, he wouldn't betray the person who purchased his services. He was a mercenary of honor, after all.Â
"Aye, m'aware of where they are. Only m'needing of a  little something t'divulge such information t'ya. Hell,  m'even willing t'bring ya straight t'them and help on  the clean up."

âFrom what?â
"From your enemies, of course. It is my sworn duty to serve you in whatever capacity you wish." The angel bowed his head slightly. Even though he may dislike serving under a human, it was what Heaven ordered and he would never defy Heaven.
Dean walked into the bar and saw the demon walking over to him he ordered a beer and smiled at him. âHello Darius.â Dean smiles at the other man. âSo I have a job for you if you want it. Crowley gave me your name said you were who to come to if I wanted this doen right.â Dean told him, sipping from his beer. âI buy you a drink?â Dean asked the other one.Â
"Dean Winchester. If m'honest never thought I'd lay eyes on ya. Remarkable work, if I say so meself." He then nodded in acceptance of the drink. "Whatever is on tap is fine." As soon as Darius ordered, he went into business mode. "What are the details?"
ââ-Generally shitty; thanks for askinâ.â
"And whose fault is that?"
âAnd people who choose the wrong house, tend to leave this very second, smartass.â
"Maybe I'm a slow learner. Â Ever think of that?"

âNothing that concerns you.â
âAlright. Iâll mark you down as âdoes not play well with othersâ.â
âOh. Right.â She wasnât too pleased about this at all. âYeah, I know that guy. Like you said, hard to forget. Want me to take you to him?â
âIf it ainât a problem for yâthen yes.â Darius nodded. âIf yâwould be so kind as tâlead the way.â
