                  He would not tell Cersei anything, but still it would be wise for the little northern lord, to learn how to address the queen, especially now where his father would be living side by side with her. she was pettiness embodied. and if Eddard’s son failed at treating her with the respect she felt she deserved. it would make Lord Stark’s life much hard. 

                  “What good would come from starting a war with the North?” He asked. Brow arched. the North had nothing of interest to Cersei, no resources, no gold, only cold, earth, that was hard to cultivate. 

                    He was indeed worried about that, Which was why he intended on introducing Robert to Lady Margaery soon. Loras’ sister was very beautiful, young, and just as wealthy as Cersei. with none of the queen’s bad nature. but he couldn’t share that knoweldge with Robb stark. “Cersei is not a fool, her son is twelve, even if she is plotting to hurt Robert, she’d be wise to wait til Joffrey is of age, that way less people will prefer Stannis.” 

“It would not be the North that she only wants to start a war with but all the Kingdoms.” Robb said with confidence. “The North is full of good people. We take care of each other. If she started a war with us then she would be creating a divide, one where people would have to choose sides.”

There would be death and the Stark believed the Lions would very much like to take over all of the Kingdoms themselves. “Your brother is not well liked. They would prefer a twelve year old over Stannis. You know that.” Dragonstone was not one of the many places that people cared about. “If she gets her way then she will also be after you and Stannis. She will leave no survivors. I do not believe she has good intentions for the people or your name.”

        Robert had ruled for a considerable time now, and the kingdoms prospered under him, - thanks to his brother knowing that his strength was not governing and delegating that to more capable men, Renly included. It had ushered in the long summer, under Robert, even the peasants seemed to eat well… 

         “I am not sure she would appreciate you calling her by name my lord.  “ Her Grace, The Queen, the royal consort - maybe but Cersei was reserved for her inner circle, which, he suspected Robb Stark was not. 

          “She’s been married to him, for almost your whole life, why would she start causing problems now?” … She caused plenty of problems, but none he felt the need to voice. 

Robb shrugged a little, not caring much to give the lion more power than he had to. “I see only you here, Renly. Do you plan to go run to the Queen and tell her I called her by her name?” He tilted his head, curious as to how the stag would answer him. He knew what his father’s thoughts were on the pair. Eddard loved Robert but did not trust his wife and the eldest Stark felt the same.

“Oh, I do not know. I feel as though she wants a war with the North.” His blue eyes narrow now, amusement completely gone. “I fear your brother might not have a head if she has her way. Are you not worried about that? Afraid she might come for you too, maybe?”

He seemed calm and collected for what they had just witnessed but that was because the Stark was slightly familiar with death. “I know,” he said calmly. They were lucky that no one had seen them but Robb hoped that justice would be served for the victim. “Yeah, let’s go.” He grabbed her hand, squeezing it tight as he pulled her towards his apartment that was a couple of blocks down the street. “You can stay with me tonight if you want. I can sleep on the couch.”

Robb looked over at her, concerned as always when it came to Veronica. “Hey, it will be alright,” he said with a small nod. It wasn’t like they had just witnessed a murder or anything but the sad truth was that they had done exactly that. “You’re safe.” And he would make sure of that, his piercing blue eyes watching her. “And all we have to do is pretend this didn’t happen and move on from it. Death happens.” It was sad and it often hurt, but they didn’t even know this person. “We’re okay.”

          robb  came  as  a  surprise  to  the  small  brunette,  one  that  she  appreciated  and  cherished,  of  course.     but,  he  was  still  a  surprise.     upon  arriving  here  in  everly,  she  never  expected  him,  but  perhaps  that  played  part  in  why  she  loved  it  all  the  more  —-  he  came  unexpected.     even  when  she  had  her  doubts  about  her  past,  wondering  if  she  really  could  move  forward,  he  stayed  and  he  was  kind  and  he  made  her  feel  safe  in  his  arms.     that  was  a  feeling  she  couldn’t  deny.     ‘  oh,  of  course,  ’  she  teased  lightly,  cheeks  a  pink  tint.     ‘  most  beautiful?     in  the  whole  school?     those  are  some  big  words,  ’  she  chuckled,  giving  his  shoulder  a  light  push  in  amusement.     ‘  you’re  lucky  you’re  so  cute.     so,  so  cheesy,  but  cute.  ’

“I had a feeling,” he said with a small nod. Her cheeks were still pink which he found adorable. “Yes, they’re big words and they are very true,” he laughed, his shoulder moving back when she pushed it. He really did find her to be the most attractive woman he had ever set his eyes on. “I am very lucky because if not you might not have even kissed me and that would be pretty disappointing since I’ve thought about it quite a lot.”

She pulled her hand back as he grabbed it, shaking her head for a second. “No–– it’s fine,” she started abruptly. God, she was stupid, she had liked him and he… he had found someone that she was sure was beautiful, wonderful… She held her sigh in, not wanting the sound to escape her lips. “I don’t think… I don’t think I can just hang out with you, I’m sorry but I don’t think it’ll work,” how were you supposed to just be friends with someone you had felt something for? Especially when he had moved onto someone else. So, she was removing herself from the situation, it seemed best. “But I wish you all the best in your relationship, Robb,” she whispered softly, leaving the money for her coffee on the table. “I’ll see you around,” she whispered once more like she couldn’t dare speak louder. Peeling herself from the seat, she made her way out of the restaurant. 

It didn’t feel like it was fine like she claimed it was with that kind of reaction but he didn’t fight her on it. She needed to feel however she felt. He sighed softly at her words. “You mean you don’t think that we can be friends?” He asked, biting his lower lip in worry. Donna was a good friend to him and probably a little more than that if he would admit it, but he didn’t. He chose Veronica. He wasn’t expecting her to just leave though and the Stark was quick to follow. “Donna, wait. Don’t do this. I don’t want to lose you as a friend. I trust you. I enjoy spending time with you. Please don’t throw that all away because I am seeing someone.”

Robb should have known that she wasn’t going to let him go alone. It wasn’t in her nature so when her hand reached for his, he gave it a small squeeze. “I don’t know what is out here,” he said honestly, looking back at her with a bit of worry. He also didn’t want to get her into any danger. “My family had direwolves and that was our house sigil but I don’t think they are in these woods, Veronica. It could be dangerous.”

Robb was worried because Harry was his friend and he didn’t think exploring the unknown was such a good thing at the moment. “Hey,” he reached out to tug the other back by his arm. “I know you want to get out of here, trust me I do, but you know the reports that have been going around. They think something is out here killing people.” He looked around them, noting how it was already getting darker. “We should look in the morning tomorrow, but not now Harry. It’s too dangerous.”

“I do…or a bit sour,” she mused in thought, glancing back over to him. She thanked the bartender for her drink, taking a sip after their glasses clinked. “I miss living in Greece, it seemed a bit more carefree. There were no pressures or meeting new people. I just… did what I want,” she mused wistfully, tucking her hair back behind her ear. She had graduated from Oxford and found herself back in school. “That is very kind of you,” she added, a bright smile on her lips. “Well I do try,” she laughed, spinning on her soles. “Hmm, Robb it is,” she smiled.

“A carefree place sounds nice.” Robb felt that way here. He didn’t have to worry about kingdoms or wars in this place which was a break for him. He could just live and enjoy his time. That’s why he liked it here so much even though he did miss home. “Why do you feel like you have to meet new people here? Is that a rule or something?” He asked, just curious on her thoughts. He took a sip of his wine, smiling at her. “I could give you a title. One like Donna from the house of Greece but that might be a bit too long.”

The unfamiliarity of this place had Jon so thrown off his game and he hated it. Having run into his father, of all people, here had him hopeful of who else he could find. He was on his way to get a much needed drink before he heard his name in a very familiar tone and he stopped in his tracks. He turned cautiously before he could realize that is was his older brother that he was hugging now. When the arms of Robb made their way around him, his immediate reaction was to hug back just as tight. “I am so glad to see you right now brother, alive and well… alive. Wait, you said Sansa is here too? Nothing surprises me since I ran into.. well.. there is a lot that you’ve missed, I assume Sansa might have brought you up to speed?” at least he hoped. Having to explain his real roots to the girls was hard enough. He did however want to fully catch up with his brother now that he had the chance. 

Jon was home. There was no one that the oldest Stark trusted more than Jon Snow himself. He felt that way since the moment he had left Winterfell. “Yes, I know I died. Sansa told me and she is here too.” He said as he pulled back to look at him. “Who did you run into? I saw Tyrion Lannister here which makes me suspect that other lions are roaming around.” He knew Jon would share in his frustration or at least understand it. “And yes, I know that you aren’t a Snow anymore. I know your background but that doesn’t mean your any less of a brother to me, Jon. You have been with me through some of the most important parts of my life and your bloodline can’t change that. I’m glad you’re here.” He looked the other over, smiling. “You look old now though. Did the Night’s Watch age you that badly?” He teased, hitting the other on the shoulder lightly.
