LIGHT BLUE HUES FOCUSED on the package being handed to her. she hadn’t expected a gift – yet alone, one from so long ago. eyebrows raise at her words, and nora feels her eyes start to tear up at the sound of her father’s name.

           tatia smiled, she knew nora would be happy with the gift she had for her. it was something that holds memoires of the time she was human, living a normal and happy life. it was in the time where she was happy..     a deep sigh escaped her lips.

                                  ‘’ it’s a locket. your father used to wear it. he gave it to me, the night before- ‘’ she stopped talking, biting her lower lip. thinking about the past was hard, but she wanted the girl to have it. ‘’ - before i choose to be with your uncle elijah. ‘’

       “unfortunately, i know almost the entire family. not that that should be a surprise since klaus does everything to get his hands on the doppelgänger.” katherine avoided to mention that she was rather close with one of them, because it didn’t matter. furthermore she had the feeling she wouldn’t like tatia’s reaction. katherine’s head tilted and eyes started to narrow, tzzing sightly. “i know my family history. but you, tatia, are not part of it. i don’t consider someone as distant related as you as family. the same goes for elena.” katherine didn’t care about the centuries in between, didn’t care about ancestors and descendants. nonetheless she couldn’t help the grim expression on her face when tatia told her she’s a traveler. wonderful. as if it’s not already tragic enough they had to share a face, now she also had the same history as her. “good thing i never liked the travelers anyway.”

tatia let out a short chuckle, shaking her head slowly. ‘’ you haven’t really looked into your family history katherine. ‘’ tatia spoke. ‘’ petrova descended from the family petrov, a line full of traveling witches -            my family. ‘’ she watched the doppelganger, shrugging right after. she couldn’t help it, but they do share the same bloodline, even though they’re doppelgangers, they have the same family.  tatia let out a sigh, looking towards the doppelganger. ‘’ you never got to learn your magic? so sad. ‘’ tatia spoke, pouting her lips for a moment. ‘’ we doppelgangers tend to be very powerfull. ‘’

SHE NODDED AND TOOK another sip of her shake, eyes wandering away from tatia and focusing on the diner around them. she hadn’t realized places like this still existed – yet alone this close to mystic falls. the booths were made of a worn-out leather, and the seats metal and vinyl seats underneath them were starting to peel around the cushions. the tables were all metal, and she counted the number of patrons inside the restaurant before she returned her thoughts to her sister. tatia was completely right – hope would forgive her, but she just had to ❛ rip the band-aid off. ❜ it would take time for the wound to heal, but nora supposed they did have all the time in the world. even if hope didn’t forgive her in this lifetime, she would in another.

❝ — i guess i just want to apologize. she deserves at least that much. an explanation? as to why i left… though, i suppose it’s not really a good one. ask for a second chance? ❞

           tatia smiled softly as she watched the girl. her hand moved slowly towards has and she gave a soft squeeze. she was proud at the girl, coming back after such a long time to see her sister and be there for her. ‘’ i’m proud at you, you know. ‘’ tatia said as she watched the girl with her big, almond colored eyes.         ‘’ you’re being so strong right now, and it’s amazing how you’re dealing with all of this. ‘’       tatia smiled softly.

                  ‘’ i believe hope will be happy with what you’re going to say. i think you don’t have to say anything at all. ‘’ tatia spoke. ‘’ i know hope, she will forgive you, the moment she sees you, i believe it. ‘’

i absolutely love red’s interpretation of tatia, and love tatia’s relationship with nora!! she’s become a sort of aunt-figure to nora, and it’s the cutest thing ever omg :)) nora really looks up to her aunt tatia, and loves going to her for advice!! red is amazing and we haven’t spoken too much ooc but i adore her and that’s the tea
