Just wanted to take a moment after looking at the Octocon tag, because there's a lot of fighting on who did what
Please remember that the people (disordered systems, at least) are all just scared and traumatized children. It isn't an excuse to harass anyone (please don't harass anyone, debates and arguments are okay if they're civil), but it is an explanation as to why we aren't handling this properly. Many of us never learned how to. My last therapist once said, "There will always be a part of you that's a kid, and it will show in your worst moments."
We are all terrified, that's true, but take a step back for a bit. It's annoying to transfer everything, it's disheartening that there isn't a solid alternative right now, and it's scary how sudden all of this is. But it'll be fine.
There are great minds cooking up alternatives right now, as long as you're patient and kind. You don't have to be afraid. Import what you need to for now, so you have your headcount in Pluralkit. You'll likely be able to transfer that when the time comes.
You've survived this long, whether you needed help managing this or you figured it out on your own. Either way, it isn't hopeless, it isn't forever, and it's far from over.
No matter who you are, no matter our differences in opinion, you are loved, and you have more strength than you believe. So you'll survive.
Take some time for yourself today. Take care of yourselves, if just for that little kid who really really needs it. I've got a day of nothing but gaming to get back to, so I'll see you around.
