The bloody surgery, the metal tools, the twisted wires, and the cold refrigerator. In the hands of the RED Medic, BLU Spy finds out just what is worse than death.
Will he ever be free?
Arrhythmia (ā-ˈrit͟h-mē-ə), noun - a condition in which the heart beats with an irregular or abnormal rhythm.
A cold operating table. A warm human heart. A surgery done in isolation.
BLU Medic finds out what it means to be yourself.
This is not a love story.

okay like actually this time for real the big drop might be very very soon. a lot of stuff kept happening but act one of the rewrite is almost done and kmmd chapter 10 is done and arrhythmia chapter 1 is also done
Note: He would actually not be canonically diagnosed with autism due to a lack of proper research during his time period, but in my fic canon I consider this to be true.
Also, this is true for RED Spy as well, but I'm chosing to talk about BLU Spy specifically because well, he's my favorite. But yes, as a clone of course it applies the other way.
Spy has always been very particular. He has certain routines. He listens to the same music, likes a lot of the same food.
He has certain clothes he wears. Textures particularly, he can't stand anything rough. Everything he owns is soft and silky. This is especially noteworthy with the fact being that his suit is custom and not official uniform. The company intended for him to just wear his uniform when he was originally cloned but he was very adamant that "his clothes" be returned to him even without being aware of himself being a clone.
He rarely likes to be touched by people. He also doesn't like touching a lot of things either. He's usually wearing gloves, which is partially a cleanliness thing and partially a sensory thing.
In conversation he's overly formal, as if following rules he has for speaking. He's suave, yes, but it's practiced. Though he can also come off as rude and uncaring with his bluntness when he doesn't care for certain things.
Spy very picky, in fact. He doesn't like certain foods and can end up not eating as much as he should because of it. People might see it as a snobbish need for certain foods, but it's generally just certain dislikes.
He has a very specific interest in mid to late 1800s. This includes the Victorian era but is not wholly encompassed by that as the Victorian era is typically in reference to British history. Art, music, books, it's a lovely sort of time period that he is always trying to learn more about. He can be very particular with the details of different decades and is completely frustrated when people act like the whole century was one cultural monolith and not full of variety in fashion and differences over the years.
Spy can get very overstimulated. Certain smells and especially sounds bother him very much, so if overwhelmed around the base he tends to retreat to his smoking room and pace about and smoke while listening to one of his favorite records. The smoking room, notably, was originally a sort of office space that he had claimed for himself because he needed somewhere to regulate himself.
Being autistic affects him in a lot of ways he doesn't really realize are part of the same thing, due to the fact being that a lot of this sort of thing goes unnoticed. The members of his team try to be aware of things and be accommodating in ways they can though.

looks at you with my heavy weapons guy eyes. you could tell me anything about him that comes to mind rlly
i can't believe i forgot about this ohhh
Heavy!!! BLU Heavy in particular
Things are definitely hard for Heavy, seeing that there is no easy way to contact his family, and definitely no easy way to get to them. As of current timing in the end of KMMD and pre Arrhythmia, he's still mentally dealing with knowing he's a clone. He doesn't hold resentment towards their team's Medic for keeping the secret for a bit though, especially because of the leverage put on her from their mysterious employers to try to keep everyone in line.
In fact, in general Medic has always been very thoughtful in his opinion. He'd previously talked about the difficulties his family had been through, and she'd listened and always had kind things to say. He really needs someone to lean on in this difficult time, and she's been there for him. That means a lot. He can tell she's been... Troubled, lately, to say the least. He hopes he can be there for her too, when she's ready to open up more.
Heavy loves reading, cooking, and unknown to many, sewing! He makes a lot of the meals for the team alongside Demo. Sure, they could all eat disappointing rations, but nicely prepared meals helps their general morale.
As a clone skills tend to carry over the most, so even if the truth of his past is complicated, he remembers helping his mother cook and also repair things like clothing. He's pretty handy with a lot of things in general, but Engineer takes care of a lot of building maintenance.
A lot of people find it very charming to see a large guy with big hands sewing and trying to get a better handle on knitting, but having something to do keeps him busy. It keeps him from having to think about certain things. It used to just be his troubled past, but now it's the reality of his situation.
He's also very fond of certain objects, he feels a kinship towards many things and names them as he sees fit, especially his minigun! Interestingly enough, this ended up a specific difference between him and his counterpart, because he calls his gun Nadia, which means hope.
but yeah i just had some major car trouble a few days ago on top of already being in medical debt so every purchase of one of these really helps me out
