trying to forge my physical media collection naturally like I'm picking for berries in the woods which is why most of the movies I have r ones I don't even fuck with that much (tag a friend who has S1m0ne on VHS @telephonepolebit) aka I'm trying not to just buy them online bc that's Hunting not Gathering but I really want Midnight Cowboy on VHS and Fright Night on VHS and DVD....hmmm....ebay

I don’t think people truly understand the scope of the damage Sony is about to do to physical media. They literally invented the compact disc. They are the reason why Blu-ray as a format won the HD wars over HD-DVD. They have gargantuan influence over manufacturing disc-based media. If Sony as a company stops making physical media for their next gen gaming consoles, this is going to affect movies and music as well. If you buy CDs, DVDs, or Blu-rays, those are next on the chopping block.

I've really been wanting to start collecting physical media, especially DVDs/Blu-rays of movies and shows

At least I still have a lot of old DVDs (even though several of them are scratched smh)

Soooooooo I'm only slightly an idiot, but the main point I'm making is if you are going to alphabetize something with "the" in the start of the title it goes at the end.

Example:

"Life of Brian, The"

"Lion King, The"

"Princess Bride, The"
