to my sideblog about stories and writing because that stuff literally won’t leave my head
quick introduction: I’m Bluefire (or Blue, or Fire) and I have gravitated towards writing and stories since what seems like forever and it follows me through all my days
I don’t think I’m alone in that though so here we go! A blog to maybe catalog all my different thoughts and project because
i can’t be the only one going insane over stories
Be aware that I am in fact still a minor I’d like yall not to be creepy in general
also be decent
and we do not shame on creativity we appreciate it
ALSO GO AWAY WITH YOUR GENERATIVE AI
I also like languages so stuff related to that might pop up here
as long as it has letters + a couple exceptions
there’s a broader intro of me on my main blog, this one mostly goes from the story perspective
on that note: below the cut is a sort of autobiography of stories from me and maybe what I have read and stuff, just to just, idk, tell yall what im doing and where im cruisin around in that department
and probably stuff imma wanna yap about
my first own story is from my pre-school time, whatever you call that in English
It is a paper picture book about two flowers becoming friends and I had one of the teachers(?) write down what I dictated them cause I couldn’t write yet
im pretty sure is one about mermaids as well but I lost it
_
for years I listened to CDs every day, it being my primary way of consuming stories at the start, because I wanted to know what happened but didn’t like reading yet
_
in primary school I read the first book that really captured me into liking reading
(a book in that book‘s series is also the book I can brag about reading fully in one day while also doing other stuff the whole day)
in that time I also copied an idea from someone else a little, and made an elemental stick figure comic (though the other person’s was better), so credit to anonymous person
I was a kid who could not write short, one-page stories, at all, I would write pages full (granted, my beginner handwriting was a bit bigger but still), I enjoy reading short stories as well as long ones but it was a journey for me to manage to write my own
primary school is also the time I kept a log of short poetry on our old computer
it was poetry in the sense that it rhymed, which was little-me’s only trajectory besides it being fun
the computer corrupted the file at some point though so I don‘t have that anymore
we sometimes got tasks sheets, that we could organise how/when ourselves, but it needed to be finished by the end of the week
once, this included writing three short stories, which I decided to combine into one little story with three section
I was obviously very proud of this and it got its little map and everything
the teacher (after asking) literally spent three small breaks reading the story to the entire class
and the class liked it, even asked me questions
like ah- ?! I’m still so shocked that happened, im still riding on shell-shocked euphoria from that

shortly after primary school I decided I wanted to write a *loong* story and finish it (yeah struggling with commitment even then) it should be at least 100 pages!
I do still have that story, written on paper and partly on laptop as well
I was definitely into the whole ‚magic school chosen one‘ thing back then, so it‘s magic school in the woods, speaking magical creature protectors, girl discovers said magical world that is for some reason hidden, turns out she was magical the whole time ✨
a little twist is that while the girl is kinda ‚chosen one‘ there is another girl who is more the chosen one
looking back I think the story is a bit unoriginal and lacking but idk, probably perfect for the age range I was in while starting to write
I do rather like stuff that I created around it, like in the world building
It surmounts about 80 pages today I think
-Daltura Woods-
a little later but still around that time I also started writing a story with someone else about a dog in space
which I can‘t say I don‘t like
unfinished too though, for a time we even thought we lost the file
-dog in space-
_
around here I got into reading a lot more too, discovered my still favourite book series(Keeper of the Lost Cities) and read Percy Jackson
_
writing new stories, e.g. one about halflings in a little notebook of mine
-halflings-
it may be noted that around here I was incredibly bored in class and created a whole bunch in my (note)books
_
more reading and I start a story I picked up later about plot twists and a little too naive dragon folk sent on a mission in a Fanatasy world that has magikophobia, coming across a herbist who wants to help her sick brother, a shunned orphan boy and a nobel girl with helicopter dads that is so bored, she doesn‘t even mind getting kidnapped- or rather, they all stumble across each other
-magikophobia-

I discover fanfiction :D
_
I did a little book that consists of tacked together paper sheets of character concepts which I already made some one-shots of (and put them on ao3 cause I went a bit crazy about them)
all set in worlds connected to each other with self proclaimed deities and a c!author with amnesia
-character concepts multi-worldly-
_
edited someone else’s story
I translate a chapter of fanfiction
_
taken up theater (im a wannabe theater kid)
_
I wrote a few new poetry pieces (that don‘t always rhyme!) that im really proud of :>
_
that‘s almost where I‘m at rn but my most recent story occupying my mind is one I started writing a few years ago
basically I got to this Life Series roleplay (Life Series fandom *:)* ) on Discord
it has the Minecraft mechanics as the world and the last-one-standing but shared health and three lives of Double Life
I enjoyed this roleplay so much I have now taken on writing/reformatting the whole rp from my character‘s POV into a story and am like halfway done
I plan on amateur book-binding it once im done (gotta look up stuff on that still)
I have also recently started audio recording it because I could use it like the CDs when I was younger yk?
very fun
I have been told that it is very nerdy /pos and I honestly stand by it unabashedly
the thing with it is that besides my character and my narrative, nothing is mine, so I can probably not share it mostly which is sad
Im proud of it

recent book(s) that occupy me: Project Hail Mary, Coffeeshop in an Alternate Universe
(fanfiction is a way to copious amount but im always happy to give recs)
_
Yeah,
I went through the genres of
detective stories>magic school stuff>Fantasy>Romantasy>Romance>cozy Fantasy>Fantasy/Sci-Fi
though I ofc read and am interested in all kinds of stories
except psychological horror, that‘s not for me
nor are unhappy endings (usually)
and im more on fiction /info
also fanfic has consumed me
ao3 is almost one of my base needs
no worries :>
i don’t write fanfiction really cause I don’t have ideas and am scared but im amazed at fanfiction authors
We carry too much, draw tracks,
too much clothing, too much food,
too much taken from far away.
Though in the wide, wide space,
still the only thing we got.
We got the world,
or rather- the world got us:
without ground under feet,
a garanteed, sure fall.
We carry too much, draw tracks,
slowly grinding down life to bland.
And if then it does get too heavy,
no more storage left to spare,
just throw it to the other creatures!
They can fall far deep down,
through the tracks we drew.
of one of my stories cause im actually really proud of some of these
coming up with chapter titles is one of my favourite things
so im sharing it
Ik you don’t have context what happens in each of these chapters but I also like sending random things without much context so yeah :)
maybe that’s why I like chapter titles so much
I just added another chapter to my Contents page and now the Contents page is actually two pages and all the page numbers have stifted by one, making all numbers there inaccurate TvT
