"Finally" Did I base a whole drawing on one word? Yeupp You know when someone says something with no apparent meaning but the tone and delivery of it makes it seem full of hidden meanings? That was me as soon as I heard Jubei whisper "finally" when exiting from the cave system under the Oni's castle. In my mind this was a man who had been transported back to his childhood trauma. Even his earlier comment about the rough air in the caves made that "finally" pack the punch of a thousand times that he would've felt like he was choking on fire, ash and smoke. Sometimes the simplest words carry such a heavy weight to them. Thank you @noshirdalal for yet another remarkable and unforgettable character!

I swear Ghost of Tsushima and now Yotei are some of the only games I take loooooads of pictures in cause they are such gorgeous games!

The game industry is really tough right now, I know a lot of people are in the same seat as me - aka unemployed for over a year. But I finally got a job in a really cozy studio and who were willing to take a chance on a junior like me! Otherwise I've been playing a lot of RDR2 and finally felt like drawing again and it felt right to start out the new year with a Charles drawing~

Loved the flashback messy art style of Jinx and Ishas memories together so I had to do an art study of it and I love it, gotta say - kinda freeing letting go a bit not thinking of perfect lines and so on!

Here is a little emissary for you, he reminded me so much of tiny groot so I just needed to draw a sort of chibi version of him and here we are! I just want to hug him and tell him everything will be alright <3

Finally found a good tutorial that wasn't just airbrushed semi realistic women so I had to try it out immediately! Nothing wrong with that but I just realised it's not the drawing style I lean towards cause I struggle too much with it and end up having no fun - and art is supposed to be fun! You guys who do it are more patient than me haha! But here is a style study on Silco and I really like the outcome!

I've always wanted to be able to create this style and I have SO many failed attempts on my computer. So I looked up some tutorials and tried again for what felt like the 57th time and it finally paid off! And ofc I had to make my lovely Warden from Terminus hehe~

After watching the livestream with Noshir I just had to make a Gorillaz version of his characters. I think I did alright, never cartoonified from realism before, first time for everything!

I absolutely loved Blue Eye Samurai. Seeing women written well and seeing an essentially overpowered figure written well is a breath of fresh air! Of course I had to draw something for it! I wish I was more comfortable with bolder colors (for the house on fire and such) but I wanted Mizu to pop more so it kinda worked out anyway~ Still learning to tackle photoshop though, might have gone overboard with the filters haha - felt like a kid in a toy store (Oooh, you can make it look like paper?!)

I saw a virtual photography by alpha_sunii on Guerilla Games instagram and since I have a huge admiration for Kotallo/Noshir Dalal I just had to try drawing it since im also trying different styles for my drawings (15+ years with just graphite pencils has left me wanting to learn other styles!) P.S. Digital art is so challenging, I feel like I have to relearn art in a way. With this one I stuck to my guns, which is mostly realism, so I wouldn't be too intimidated! P.P.S. Re-entering tumblr after 10 years of absence, last time I lived in Tokyo still, where does time go!?
