Shifted into value studies for my daily practice. Gotta say I find painting with a focus on value a lot more satisfying.

Todays practice. A tractor and some barns. Neither things I have ever drawn before or had any particular interest in, but nevertheless enjoyed sketching both.

Im switching up my routine to undergo 15 weeks of landscape studies and practice. Ill see where that gets me and probably post some of the studies that I enjoyed most. This is Petra, Jordan. Gorgeous architecture, carved directly into the red stone.

Heres a cute bun Ghibli-esque commission I just finished. My first painting with an actual background. Time to expand my art comfort zone and stop drawing the same things! (even when its hard!)

A girl and her weird moth dog. Characters named “Death’s Head and “Pop”. Pop is a cheerful young alchemist and Death’s Head is her gentle-giant companion animal.
