I do love the idea of Dwamza right now. However, I feel that Dwamza as just a website is a huge loss because a dream journal should always be there available to you anytime. but a website, to access it requires you to take your laptop out, have internet, and press a couple more buttons and wait for everything to load before finally writing your dreams down. This is why in the future we want to extend Dwamza as an app. Why? Because the majority of the general population, especially the young generation owns a smartphone of which they can be able to download apps on. this is a great opportunity for Dwamza to increase their ease of accessibility to the people.

I started to look into the context and research about dreams. I read a few articles and read a few books like Sigmund Freud’s interpretation of dreams. I wanted to understand and get a better concept of what benefits our website can offer to people.

We started to consider making a comic for each of the stories because they were so interesting to read. It would be cool and it’s a great concept however it takes too much time for the artist and again, we shortened the text limit for the writers for a reason ,and that is to keep everything small quick and simple. We didn’t want to complicate things fro the readers and artists. Also if we were to make the artists promise to make a comic for their chosen story/writer, the time it’ll take them to draw the drawing might become a hassle and become a chore after awhile. We want no commitment, and no strings to the artist. we want them to feel free and can do what ever they want in a short time, which of course everyone has the right to do. especially because they aren’t going to be paid for this, and the main incentive for everything on this website is all about passion for writing and passion for illustrating, then we want to keep everything short and quick t do. nice, and easy. short and sweet.

We decided to put a text limit on the dreams. mainly becuase we want everything to be kept short so that people can read, spark their interest for a bit and before they lose it, move on to another firework. much like how snapchat works, how everything is kept short and fast.

I have quickly made a logo. The logo has all the DWAMZA letters making it up as a whole. My model or inspiration for this logo is the Toyota logo where it does the same thing, it has all its letters making up its logo.

Object Performance Post 7

I have started to sketch out a few dreams. I was kinda disappointed with a few of the drawings at the start, i kinda had to experiment a little bit with the style I wanted to keep consistent though. But keep in mind that in the future, we plan to are more than one artist to collaborate with the writers and so the style will be inconsistent as there’d obviously be more than one individual with a different style.

Object Performance Post 6

I have started collecting dreams from the people I know. It was interesting sharing a dream with each other I actually enjoyed it. We had some good laughs and reactions at a few dreams.

Getting people to share their dreams with me was fun. I imagine and hope that Dwamza would be a system that would work similarly. Of course, sharing are one of the things we social humans love to do. The more interesting the story is, the more likely it will be remembered and shared. - memorable.
