Puzzled part 1

He was jumping roof tops that night with his brothers. Ever since the incident he would be extra careful of his brothers.
Luckily not much changed after the incident besides one thing or another.
Not even when more people came into their life and some leave, not completely of course.
He was sad his idol had to stop wrestling until he got a new arm, but at least he’ll come back eventually.
They were fighting him yesterday after all.
“Wait, why did he have to stop wrestling?”
“You mean ghost bear? They didn’t have a division for wrestlers that had physical or mental disabilities. Honestly think we should keep an eye on that.”
“You’re right, he was fighting us just fine with one arm. He would be fine against a regular wrestler.”
“Besides it not like he wouldn’t cheat anyway.”
He decided not to stick up for his idol because that was fair, Ghost Bear did in fact cheat.

That’s off topic as they were patrolling with no mission at the moment. It took some time for his little brother to get the hang of being in charge, but when he did- he couldn’t be prouder.
Granted when he actually focused and not trying to manage everyone else’s feelings into happy ones.
He’s started seeing something off with his little brother/ leader, he’s not sure what it was.
That’s when they heard an alarm on his others brothers staff.
“There is a robbery two blocks from here. Seems like the new jewelry store is being hit.”
“Then let’s go check it out. Raph, you and Donnie take the front and me and Mikey will take the back. Stick to the shadows guys. See you there!”, the blue clad leader winked before jumping a way with their orange clad brother.

Things were a little confusing after that. He was disoriented by a good kick to the head and plastron from an unknown figure.
He didn’t get to talk with the thief or their minions after they knocked Donnie out. He was torn between helping Donnie and chasing the thief.
Then Mikey screamed.

Leo + mystery egg = angry family tearing New York and the hidden city apart before he could explain.
Like he pops up nervous and asking about how babies are born and stuff to his bros when-
Glass shattered- the most terrifying he’s ever seen his father enters the room. Breath heavy and steam coming from him as he asks, “Who?”
Leo sweats in confusion and tries to explain. Splinter can’t hear him over his desire to kill. He turns to his brothers only to see Raph and Donnie with the same expression.
He looks at Mikey who has his thumb up. Oh good, Mikey is sane and will here to hear him out.
He watches with a sweat at his family running out. April gets called to control them.
“So what actually happened?”
“Found MeatSweats with a giant egg. I took it and left a note.”
“What did you write?”
“If he ever goes anywhere near an egg like the one I found I will make sure he can’t have any of his own. Which is why I asked about babies. Pretty sure he can’t lay eggs?? But Meatsweats probably could??? I don’t know.”
“Want me to help you incubate it?”
“Yes, I think Donnie just sent me a text telling me how to set up.”
Things are escalating horribly on Aprils end and she’s had enough.
“Fine! If you’re not going to support him when he needs you, then I’m taking him and Mikey!”, she doesn’t believe Leo laid an egg but she needed their attention.
“Wait! Perhaps we were a little hasty with our assumption?”
“You think!?”, said someone tied upside down.
“Silence fool!”
They come back calmer and see Leo with a large and colorful egg. He couldn’t have laid it.
“I was going to tell you I saved an egg from being eaten by Meatsweats but you went totally insane, so thanks for that.”
“We’re sorry….”

Here’s a crossover idea.
Okay so I don’t know how it got to this point but let’s say one of the versions or a handful from different versions get teleported to the hidden city.
They were kind of confused but since they’ve met each other, they stick close. Then they hear something in a alleyway.
“Look I know for a fact that you’re too old to be hitting on me, so drop it.”, they stumble upon a red eared slider being cornered by a random mutant (yokai) that probably smells as cheap as they look.
“Oh come on, you probably have a few years I could wait.”
“No. I’m waiting for my big brother. You know ones usually nearby, right?”, they grit out.
“I don’t see him coming sweet heart, you look like a girl that likes fun don’t you?”
“I’m not.”, they glance and notices someone approaching.
“Besides my big brother’s here.”
“Just what can that noodle arm do huh?”
“I meant the red one.”, they smirk.
The random brute tenses as he feels a glare behind him. He turns to see a turtle with some muscle on him and a horrible glare.
The red eared slides away and behind them.
“I found my brother! Loved to chat but I have places to be! With my brother!”
The turtle twitches because he can feel the slider anxiously gripping the back of his shell. Other turtles show up.
“Yeah, why don’t you be on your way Hm?”, he snarls.
The random brute runs off scared. Once the slider deems it safe, they somewhat collapse in relief.
“Oh thank goodness! You saved my shell there. Sorry about that, no one usually approaches me. Mostly when my brothers are usually not far behind. You guys hungry? I know the best pizza place. I’d show you myself, but kind of need to go to my step dad for a hot second.”, the slider rambled with a smile.
“Well pizza would be nice, but why isn’t your step dad with you right now? If that isn’t too much to ask?”
“Hm…. We’ll I do like bad mouthing him every chance I get….. however it wasn’t his fault he ditched me. This time. He’s on probation for some pretty dumb things, don’t worry about it. So of course some public service is bound to happen.”
“Ah I see… we’ll can you give us directions then?”, said one of the turtles.
“Even better!”, they had them a map that’s locked onto the ‘Run of the Mill’ pizzeria.
“Cool, never seen one of these. How’s it work?”
“Uh tap here to undo the location lock and then touch this to open the voice thingy. If you don’t have a specific place to go, then the nearest one would pop up and tap it again to lock it. Anyways, that’s it.”
The slider turns to leave before stopping and turning a round with a glint in their eyes.
“When you get there- just say the best customer they’ve ever had wants them to charge your food to Baron Draxum. A little pay back for ditching me is well deserved after all.”
They laugh at that.
“By the way, where did you get your mask? Blue is my favorite color and I kind of ‘lost’ mine…”, they blushed when they said they ‘lost’ their mask.
“Uh sorry I got mine from my…dad.”
“Oh yeah me too, but I’ll have to look at one the illegals stalls then.”
“Illegal?”
“Yeah my family kind of *cough* destroyed the whole city *cough* totally has nothing to do with me! I’m blameless!”
They finally left them.
“Think that was one of us?”
“Probably considering they asked about a mask.”
“More importantly, got the guy tied up?”
“On the roof.”
“Good let’s get a bit information from him before getting that pizza.”
“I think it’s cute that, probably, Leo has a vindictive personality.”
“Also kind of worrying.”
“Yeah.. anyways what will we do to get him to talk?”
“I say smack him a round a little- especially for scaring the little blue.”
“Good idea, but we don’t know if the consequences-“
“Don’t worry about that. He won’t be talking about this to anyone.”
They go to the roof.

At the pizza place, they do as instructed and the owner groans.
“What did pepino do? He likes to make a mess. I’m so sorry for the inconvenience.”
“Oh he didn’t do anything! This a thank you for helping him.”
“Some creep was hitting on him when he was alone.”
“Wasn’t he with his step dad?”
“Uh Accidental ditching apparently.”
“Aie that Draxum wasn’t much of a role mole to begin with. I’ll have your pizza ready soon enough, please don’t be like little pepino and make a mess.”
A rabbit waiter asks what they want to drink.
“How was Leo anyway? Did he look obnoxious?”, the rabbit asked.
“Eh he seemed fine, why?”
“He does not have a clue what person space is.”, the waiter huffed before leaving.
“What a weird world this is.”
“Yeah, doesn’t seem like New York to me.”
The pizza arrives and they eat. They were amazed by the pizza. The slider shows up with a sheep man.
“Hey guys! Meet my step sheep. He’s the one paying <3”
The slider sits at the table while his step dad stands. He glared at them all.
“Why must I pay for these whelps meal?”
“Because they helped me when I really needed you <3”
“You could have handled it yourself.”
“Ah but here’s the thing.”, an angry glint in the sliders eye.
“You and my family have already caused quite a mess yourselves and making another scene just after the punishment ruling would not look good for my dad or my brothers.”
“The only reason I’m in trouble is-“
“You didn’t stop them and they dragged you with them. That’s on you.”
The slider then ignored him in favor of continuing to eat and the sheep gave up his money, not wanting to get into an argument.
“Oh I never got your names. I’m Leo Hamato, Battle Nexus champion and certified hero if I do say so my self! But you can call me Neon Leon.”
“Ah yes, self proclaimed fame the best kind of hero.”, the rabbit waiter showed up.
Dropping the pizza on the plate, Leon practically melted into a love struck smile.
“Oh hiiii Usagi, I missed you <3 want to hang out later?”
Usagi rolled his eyes and placed drinks on the table along with Leon’s.
“You know juuust thing huh? You’re really cool <3”
“Leo, if your brothers saw you after curfew they’d kill me.”
“Why? You’re my best friend and you’re strong <3 and fast <3 and smart <3!!”
Usagi stays quiet as he deadpans, feeling the glare of the other turtles at the table.
Oh good. His family grows and my pain extends.
“Oh where are our manners? We haven’t introduced ourselves either.”, a tight smile.
(Of course the other turtles have aged, Leon is still 16 though)
“I’m… Daniel.”
“I’m… Milo.”
“I’m… Ronald.”
“I’m…. Laramie.”
(IDK about ages)

Eventually blah blah they get back before anyone found out they were from other universes.
“Laramie” gave his mask to Leon.
Now imagine how they’d find out of other universes.
Maybe Leon shows up to another universe, doesn’t know at first when they see one of them.
Or more sudden visits to the hidden city.
(How come we don’t ever start in the hidden city? I thought it would be a good idea.)
Which turtles come here? Besides them being one of each.

Great Idea:
Splinter walks into the living room and drops a 20 on the floor.
He stares at each one of his sons.
“Don’t touch this.”
He walks back to his room.
Mikey goes for it first, but only to goad Raph into approaching him and fighting about it. Don tries to break up the fight while Leo makes off with the money and no one's the wiser.
Check Mate
He stood up from his seat on the couch. They were all chilling in the lair of the 2007 alts and he was bored.
He wandered a round the room trying to find someone or something exciting.
He wasn’t one to listen or sit for hours about things he’s not interested in.
That’s when he heard a noise. He followed it to the lab of 2007 Donnie. In the lab were all the Donnie’s they have met so far. They seemed to be playing a game.
Chess.
Oh. His favorite game. He loves chess more than the Lair games, but only for personal reasons. The lair games are one of his favorites because he’s gets to spend time with his whole family and have an ego boost.
He chirps. He can’t see. He doesn’t know where he is and yet he’s not scared.
He holds his brothers hand. His brother guides him to the pillow that moves and cries sometimes.
It talks.
“Blue, look at me.”
He turns his head in the direction of the voice. He tilts his head as it gives him a scratch. He makes a sound because he likes the scratching and rubbing.
It talked again.
“You love that don’t you, blue? Good boy, now eat this.”
He opened his mouth and ate the soft food. He liked it a lot. He just wished he knew what it was.
His brothers are chirping and moving next to him. He wants to cuddle with them. One of them is hugging him now.
“Blue, what are you looking at?”
He couldn’t answer that. He can’t see, so how could he look?
“Don’t be sad. That’s my job.”
He barely realized he had tears to wipe. He also remembered it called itself their dad. He is their dad.
Why was dad sad? Oh! Dad is singing again. He doesn’t know what the words are.
“Blue…. Can you follow my hand?”
He tries not to cry, dad said not to be sad, but he can’t do it. He can’t see.

One day, he was older, he could almost see colored blobs. His dad was less sad when he realized that.

When his twin helped him- he could see so clearly! He ran to his dad to tell him.
The first time he could see his dad clearly, his dad was crying again.
He waited until the next day to tell him, when he wasn’t so sad. His dad smiled then.

I have unfairly only thought about rise Leo and his interactions with alternate them’s.
What about Donnie?
Mikey?
Raph?
I feel like they would acknowledge not only that he is a soft shell, but that he is one of the most blood thirsty species of turtles and are surprised at how well he is surprising it. Someone don’t understand how the way he acts is “suppressing” but say nothing and take a step back.
They would adore him as they should. Then try not to pee when they see him lift a heavy object with his chains. They love his cooking but got kicked out of his kitchen when trying to bond with him.
They judge him for a second before being stunned at him softly hug one his brothers and help them out of a panic attack. He was crying.
They realized these kids could get their help like they never really did. They try not to be too hard on them then.
They rarely see rise Raph look like the other Raph’s even when he shows his anger- they only ever see him be super terrifying it comes to protecting his brothers from something or someone.
They realize late that these kids are unhinged because they are mostly polite.
When they see their problems that are poorly hidden, unlike Leo who seems to master the keeping secrets down bad, they try to help without making them feel threatened by their help.
The kids are broken like they are and feel guilty they couldn’t stop that. No one could ever save them- they always have to save themselves or their friends.
There were a lot of things they learned from the kids too. Like some of them didn’t know what stimming was or that they do it.
The kids just walk into human place without a care and get prescription meds or off brand meds that work for their issues.
Apparently New Yorkers aren’t supposed to bat an eye at crazy stuff. Also the kids generation just joke about really sad stuff because they all have issues and wow did they correct someone on how to shank people?
This generation is so desensitized. It wasn’t that it was a different universe (maybe) it was also the culture that had developed as a coping mechanism within the youth as a whole.
(Where am I going with this???)
Anyway they have their own crisis over the things they learned.
Raph hasn’t met Mona Lisa yet???

They all shift uncomfortably as Raph hyperventilates as he searches for Leo and they all hug him. He tells them he’s fine, Alive, won’t disappear, and they are safe.
They don’t like the way he smiles when he says that.
Then they find out the kids are criminals that have been to jail and know crime bosses. At least they’ve never killed before, right? Right?
“Your first response was to cut him in half!?”
“What? He was on my head! I panicked! I’d like to see what you’d do if something was gross and wiggling and touching you-“
“Okay I get where you’re coming from- but please try to say calm next time.”
They do not like Baron Draxum or Big Mama.
The spirit of Tang Shen meeting the rise boys and telling them to stop worrying the 12 boys. Leo hugs her.
“Awe but Auntie Shen! We’re just having fun.”
Tang Shen hugs him back and pats his head.
“Please, they are all that is left of my family. I don’t want them in a early grave because you’ve scared them to death.”
“Fiiine, love you <3”
She smiles at her nephew. Rise Mikey joins the hug.
“Should we tell them they could meet their dad?”
“No not yet. Ease them into it. Let them know how this works first and meet the others. Work your way up or let them ask you first. But don’t just drop it on them, they have to figure it out.”
“Okay! Bye Auntie Shen.”
“Good bye boys.”
All of the Donnie’s get together to determine who is smarter with a game of chess.
Rise Donnie laughs evilly/ normally as he sets the winner up against rise Leo.
Or he groans because everyone has to watch him go up against Leo.
He has never won a serious game of chess against Leo.
If it wasn’t serious, Leo would let him win or make him think he’s won.
Now everyone wants to go against Rise Leo.
Tell me, who do you think would win a single game of chess against Rise Leo?
What other games are Leo good at, besides Lair Games?
You know what would be funny? I've seen a lot that 2012 Leo would be Donnie's favourite Leo, what if Leo had a favourite Donnie?
I like the idea that Leo is just secretly (not so secretly) really really good at chess. So like, what if he doesn't lose a game of chess, what if he just "loses" a game of chess?
Like, he absolutely destroys every single Donnie, no mercy, except one.
Like in the 2003 Christmas episode where April "won" the arm wrestling match when Casey and Raph lost.
He might not expose Leo in front of everyone certainly not in front of the winner, but he’d swear at him when they were alone. Someone over hears, but they don’t say anything. They just look at rise Leo with an unknown expression.
2018 Donnie after the game in the kitchen, irritated: ... you threw the game....
2018 Leo: Uh, no, I lost because of his amazing strategy and wit-
2018 Donnie: You had the opportunity for a checkmate.
2018 Leo: .... I-
2018 Donnie: You had the chance to pull a Fool's Mate.
2018 Leo: ....
2018 Donnie: You. Threw. The. Game.
2018 Leo:
2018 Donnie: are you fucking KIDDING ME-
Rise Leo chuckles menacingly as he walks forward. Rise Donnie takes a step back.
“Whose going to believe you? Why would they want to?”, he sneers.
Rise Donnie grips his fist tightly.
“The truth will get out. They’ll figure it out!”, he grits out.
“Oh Donnie Donnie Donnie. You don’t seem to get it. They will ignore the truth, because the truth hurts. It will destroy. Is that what you want, dear brother? To destroy them?”, he asks.
“No…”, said rise Donnie.
Rise Leo pats him on the shoulder before walking a way. A figure easedropping was shocked at the revelation. They shift a bit with fear and unease.
Leo @ that one Donnie that overheard their conversation:
They don’t figure it out despite one thing. The Donnie’s all played against each other before going against Leo. We don’t know who beat who or who went against Leo. But if Leo went against everyone….
Another thing I find funny is the reactions of the other turtles that watched the chess matches. God the splinters…..
You know what else would be funny? They all (and I don't just mean the other Donnie's, but also the rest of their universe's TMNT crew) would have underestimated Leo (as most people do which he uses to his advantage a lot).
So they all place best on the Donnie's on who would win, and then those winning+some and who would win with the Donnie vs Leo game.
Now, the Donnie vs Donnie game is about a 14.3% chance on who would win depending, so it's anyone's game, but the game between (the winner) Donnie vs Leo (going the Winner VS Leo route) there's a 50%-50% chance technically, but with how Leo's personality is, the others think it's prob just a 100% (winner)- 0% (Leo) game, so they all bet on Donnie except for the 2018 fam, who bet on Leo.
None of the Leo's bet (2018 Donnie wouldn't have set the winner against 2018 Leo "Just Because"), and I don't know if the Splinter's would bet but maybe some of them would just for fun.
And then they see Leo play.
