First day - eeeeek! Wish me luck!!
Walking home from the bars last night…
As promised, some pics of my room in my new apartment!! Orientation officially begins tomorrow and I’m beyond excited (and a teensy bit nervous!) to begin my law school years!! I’ll do some pics of the rest of the apartment when the roommates and I are a little more settled in!
You have a place in my heart no one else ever could have.

Whatever the means, be it your hands, your voice, or your dollars and cents, one of the greatest things about giving back is that you get to use that medium to advance whatever cause is nearest and dearest to you. Whether that means serving hands-on at a soup kitchen, running a 5k for breast cancer research, or yes, even taking the ALS ice bucket challenge, taking the time to give back is important and worthwhile. Cynicism might be cool, but positivity and a willingness to help will get a lot more accomplished. "Do what you can, with what you have, where you are." -Teddy Roosevelt
Breakfast (in bed) of champions & watching Hunger Games. Errands to run later, but for now, life is grand :)
Before driving to Lex, picking up my mattress set, spending forever unloading everything, realizing my bed frame didn’t have slats and running to Home Depot to have them cut, arguing with my mom & cousin over room layout, nearly passing thanks to humidity + heavy furniture + second floor apartment, and not getting back to L’ville til almost 11… le sigh.
BUT I am in love with my apartment and can’t wait to get back today or tomorrow full time!! Law school adventures await :D
P.S. Pics of the apartment to follow when I'm back in Lex!!
Made myself be good and only bought one dress from the Lilly sale. Super bummed I missed out on a couple of things that had they not sold out I would've also purchased, but overall I'm pleased with this year's sale! :)
When I move into my first apartment
i’m so excited about this.
Finallyyyyyyyy!!!!
Beginning to pack to move to school and having no idea where to begin…
True story: coming in from dinner & trivia, a moth flew in our front door. My mom immediately starts swatting at it, while I suggest turning out the foyer light and turning the brightness all the way up on our porch light. Guess whose plan worked?
Last day at the summer job!!! Now to decide how to spend my Target gift card, courtesy of the best boss ever!!
Excuse me while I collapse into sobs
Rest in Peace, you wonderful and talented human being.
