I’ve been fighting off an ant invasion in my kitchen for the past week (but I think the new baits I got are working!) and now I just saw a mouse in my kitchen 😭

I’m 6 months into ice skating and I think it may be one of the best things I’ve ever done for myself. I’ve always wanted to learn how to skate and I’m so glad I’m finally doing it! The learn to skate classes at my local rink are great and the instructor is fantastic. I feel like I’ve come so far in 6 months!

They’re not good, but I can sort of do a 3 turn (one foot turn) on my left foot and two foot spins in both directions!

I took a vacation day today and it was so nice to be at the rink during the day; it was almost empty!

This morning I realized I had an ingrown hair/infected follicle on my shin. I can’t believe I didn’t notice it earlier because it was pretty inflamed. I was able to lance it, but I’m so paranoid it’s going to an infection before I go to Disney world in two weeks. I’m keeping a very close eye on it.

I thought I was winning the war against the ants who showed up in my kitchen last week because I hadn’t seen many over the past few days, but it turns out they just learned to avoid the ant bait on the counter by climbing on the cabinets.

I woke up at 3 and I finally feel ready to go back to sleep (I have today off so I don’t need to get up for work), but now this shit is happening.

I’ve been procrastinating on my student loan stuff because I just didn’t want to know what my new payment was going to be. It looks like it’s going to be $300+ a month 😭😭😭

Fuck everyone who voted for this. With the SAVE plan I was only going to pay like $80 a month!!

And I think I still have like 4-5 years left before I’m eligible for PSLF (the Covid forbearance makes things confusing)
