War is raged in time as well as space. War is raged in the mind as well as in time. The nature of war is such that there are two or more opinions on where a society should go in the future. This is the purpose of war. To see which side will gain the right to move their world forward in a certain direction. 2016 was the battleground of a culture war, a war fought in the hearts and minds of the Western World. In a thousand years historians will look at our time, this year, and see why the world ended up the way it was. For better or worse, progressivism became mainstream culture. Progressivism filled that hole that was left by the fading religions and ideals of the West; Christianity, the protestant work ethic, imperialism, heterosexual marriage etc. When the decay of a culture begins something will take its place. We see this throughout history. Whenever culturual values of yesterday are ignored today new cultural values will rise. Thus christianity gave way to the aggressively areligious, heterosexual marriage gave way to marriage and even no marriage at all, imperialism gave way to regret for yesterday's sins. This is how progressivism rose, and if it were allowed to continue to rise the very core of USA civlization would have crumbled and become something new. The nature of progressivism is such that it is revolutionary; every policy and ideal changes the nature of civil order, from immigration changing the cultural demographics, to the progressive jokes that made fun of marriage of any kind, to the anger over the wage gap and the attempts to close it. The people of the United States, that is, the citizens whose ancestors grew up in America, needed persuaded that progressivism was the right new culture. And had progressivism kept its temper and did not shit all over everyone it was trying to persuade it would have succeeded. Had progressivism, or rather, the progressives, not openly insulted the very people they were trying to convert their paragon, Hillary Clinton, may have become president. Had progressives practiced the tolerance they love to preach about, they would have succeeded. But as we saw, the behavior of the progressives scared the Electoral College so much that Hillary Clinton lost five votes to Donald Trump's two. To any progressive this would be baffling. How could Hillary lose five votes on December 19th to Donald Trump's two? Well, it must have been white people, they said. It must have been men, they said. They must have been persuaded by Russia, they said. And here we see the true nature of the progressives and their movement. Tens of millions of progressives (or that is what I am led to believe) all sang for the discrimination and segregation of "white people", because it was white men who ruled the world, and white men who were poverty pimps to black neighborhoods, white men who hated minorities. And tens of millions of other Americans screamed (or so I put it) "Where for fuck's sake is your proof?" And when progressives tried to point it out, more often than not, either the progressives point to the alt-right, a movement that is incredibly small, making up less than six percent of the American population, or to hate crimes in the name of Trump or the alt-right that turned out to be almost all faked ahen the police looked into it. And so, in the hearts and minds of ateast tens of millions progressives became synonymous with liars, retards, wimps, socialist, communists, feminazis and so many other derogatory terms designed to shame and discriminate the movement out of existence. It is because of the behavior of the progressives that Trump was elected. Because elitest, creepy old guy Trump's message of some sort of patriotism and positivity, of hope for a better future, resounded more with the members of the Electoral College than the message of progressive (aka liar, communist) creepy grandma Hillary. Had the progressives been wiser in their representatives and message, had they instead called for resurgent economy in rural unrecovered areas, or had Obama even helped produce jobs in those areas, progressivism would have won. Your virtues would have been proven in the mind of the working class, and the tens of millions people and the 304 electors in crucial, battleground states who voted against you in 2016 your grand cultural revolution would have come to fruition. Instead, because people believed progressives were poison to American Civlization they voted against you. And unlike healthy human beings, when you lost you did not go back to the drawing boards, you did not change your message, you did not wonder if it was because there was something wrong with your own message. You just pointed fingers and called everyone discriminatory slander. And even now, you refuse to change your ways. And as you refuse to change a hatred is burning against you in the hearts and minds of people you name call, who the worst of you harass and insult. And so, as with every culture, a counter-culture emerged. But this counter culture emerged from the ashes of what your revolution butned, and it rise quickly during your golden age of progressivism. You didn't even start the fire, the fire gained new fuel. 2016 was the year that the tide turned turned in the Culture War for the Heart of America and in the Culture War of the West of which America is only one front. Simply put: because progressives did not help the majority and spat at the majority the majority rejected progressives. What will come from this change of course is not quite known, but it can be guessed at. Already it is obvious that war with Russia is not one an obvious future. Putin reacted in an adult-like manner to Obama's worthless attempts at punishment for a crime he didn't even commit, and Trump praised him for pledging to wait three weeks. America will protect the jewish homeland; Obama denounced Israel, whose right wing government proves right wing does not have to be anti-semetic, and Trump upheld Israel, saying this will change in three weeks. America will also get a Trumpcare. And also, that Trump intends to ignore gay rights because he believes it is a dead and solved issue. And that Trump will try to revive the economic regions that have not recovered from '08, as we saw when he set the standard by saving Carrier a few weeks ago. All of these are symbolic stands against progressivist culture and political policy. And no doubt, 2017 will continue to be a bad year for progressives. The memes relating to this subject are entirely accurate. Get your progressive virtues ready for a pummeling, because if you cannot defend them properly they will be ignored and left out in the cold doorstep of history as rejects. Anthropology, psychology, economics, philosophy, comedy, business, science, statistical analysis and critical analysis should be your tools. And most importantly, change your message. Empires have fallen because they pursue the same policies in a world where those policies no longer work, or never worked).
