Star light. Star bright. First star I see tonight. I wish I may, I wish I might might, have this dream I dream tonight. Totally awe inspired by the sheer volume of stars in the sky last night. It really makes you think of all the possibilities out there and it makes you ponder the big questions in life like how we came to be here. Looking at something so big made me feel very small, a spec of matter in all that exists. And as if that wasn't enough, there was a beautiful bright shooting star in my last shot of the evening. I couldn't believe my luck this week when I saw a #chameleon in the wild. A pretty epic moment for me as I love these little critters so much. They are utterly fabulous. How #beautiful is this #bird? It is a #Turaco. It has gorgeous emerald green #feathers. When it flies, you get amazing flashes of red and blue. Absolutely #stunning. If ever there was a bird that made me say #wow out loud, it is this stunning creature. #photo #Sunday #beauty #photooftheday #Loirie

Experimenting with #light. I found a #sprinkler in a #park that captured the light brilliantly. It is a shame about the background but I could do nothing about this. This might just be the brightest #pink flamingo I have ever seen. I think he has had his fair share of brine shrimp (or canthaxanthin)! I love the contrast of #colours in this image. Did you know that a group of flamingos are called a flamboyance. Love that fact. :D I love taking #bird #portraits. :) Hope you have a lovely #Friday. :)

Has anyone managed to get to grips with studio #lighting yet? It is an enigma to me. I had fun spending an afternoon in a #studio giving it a go though. :) Tried lots of different lighting #techniques. This is #overexposed with patchy light but I still like it. Cuteness overload. I have had a week of seeing #animals pull silly faces. This is a #lemur, a #primate native to #Madagascar. They are magnificent creatures & fun to watch. Have you got any pictures of animals pulling silly faces? 😋 Hope you have a nice day. :) #photo #Tuesday
