Please be critical of what videos you see now. Even cute animal ones. Does the animal move kind of weirdly? Is the fur a little too smooth looking? Do all of the non dog animals make actions eerily similar to how a dog would do a trick, because that's what AI has the most visual training on replicating? Its movements a bit too quick and perfectly timed? Watch out. They're infecting collections of animal videos everywhere.

It is legitimately sickening.

An example of what kind of a thing you need to look out for. This is not how a possum plays dead. This is how a DOG plays dead to make you laugh and get a treat. Because when you tell an AI to have it play dead its got thousands of dog trick videos to reference and very few possum ones in contrast. So its going to look like a dog. When a possum plays dead it actually looks.. yknow. Dead. It goes utterly limp and most of the time in my experience their mouth is open somewhat. They go utterly still, don't move at all. Even if you pick em up and nudge em around a bit they’ll usually be stiff as a board. There's videos you can find of people interacting with real possums when they’re playing dead and its incredibly different from the dog drop and roll we see here. It also almost immediately stops playing dead to wander away. Something a real possum most certainly wouldn't do. AI slop thrives off using these lower quality cam video styles to trick you. I've seen countless 'Security camera' footage of AI bullshit now and its got its tells but if you're not looking you can easily be deceived. Watch out. Do your part. Call it out. Make them ashamed. Pollution on the internet like this shouldnt be tolerated. Especially when its actively trying to lie to you. None of these have ever been labelled as AI because they're actively trying to sneak into your life.

ok sorry to double reblog BUT I just looked him up and he does these fantastic videos where he breaks down HOW he actually mimics the other artists’ styles. Like for ed Sheeran, he explains how he brings his voice forward in the mouth, while Adam Levine sings in the back of the mouth, stuff like that. I just had a question. If I come across as too prying or weird, I apologize in advance. But...

I thought you had completely left the Blush Blush fandom last year after SPS wrecked their reputation with AI stupidity. And I also thought you had moved onto different fandoms as well, leaving BB far behind you.

And yet, in the present day, I still kinda see you lingering around in the fandom space just a little bit. So I wanted to ask, is it because despite all that SPS has done, there's still a part of yourself that wants to hold onto BB because, well...it's just so hard to let go of something that used to mean a lot to you? Because if that's the case, I want you to know that I am 1000% in the same boat. I wanted to leave it all behind, too, but god damn it, I hate that there's a part of me that still loves this stupid, stupid game. Logically, it doesn't make sense to cling onto it but the human mind can be kinda flawed sometimes.

But if my assumption about you is wrong, then I'm sorry, and I guess you can just treat this ask as a minor vent.

Part of this is cause it's a little hard to let go of a thing that you used to hold fairly dear

Though admittedly the VAST majority of my lingering presence is cause I would check back in out of curiosity, saw some shit, heard about some other shit, keep hearing about or seeing shit, and honestly I got kinda fed up and decided I needed to say something-- and really, when have I ever ACTUALLY shut up??

I had past friends and more recent friends go through some drama that legitimately just-- did not need to happen. And since that drama monster still looms large over the fandom as a whole, I just really wanted to give people a little corner they could in theory run to (though I doubt much will come of it, since I really have legitimately lost all interest in upholding the fandom in the slightest)

Everything I do at this point is motivated solely cause I genuinely still like a lot of the people I used to share a fandom space with, and I still want to (and do) talk to them-- none of my recent activity is out of love for the game and ESPECIALLY not out of love for sps. (whom frankly I never had any great love for, even back when I was in the fandom)

It's like you used to live in a neighborhood, and you drive by every so often to say hey to some of your old neighbors--- but then you also hear some shit's been going down in the neighborhood, so you start bringing people pies or something-- or at least send them a card or say hey

I do wanna make it clear I have not opened, played or even interacted with the game proper since the ai thing. Nor do I ever plan to do so. (They sure as hell ain't gettin' my money, that's for damn sure)

The most I've done is take quick passing glances at the new guys (mostly just to see what they look like and hear what their voices sound like {and low key, I think y'all are better off not hearing my opinions on them cause I think they're kinda flat. As someone who loves literature and ESPECIALLY romantasy, I'd be underwhelmed if I ever cared in the first place} {and before anybody mistakes my being opinionated as me being invested--- nah fam, I'm heavily opinionated about everything-- just ask my co-worker XD ["WHAT DO YOU MEAN WEREWOLF DIMENSION?! lmao]})

Honestly it was the fans/the friends I made that even kept me coming back in the first place way back when, cause I guess my creativity verve is fueled purely on head pats to my ego XD

But yeah-- I don't really care much about the game, but familiarity is hard to shake off, and I DO still care about the people

The game I can ultimately let go of, the people are frankly a lot harder to abandon
