Newt slides down the door, now resting on the floor. A sob coming from the biologist, as he nods in response to Black Hat. He has definitely realize he has made a mistake, and deeply regrets it.
“No, no, I want you to say it. Apologize for your misdeeds like the little pathetic creature you are. I want to see groveling.”

The door slammed closed and locked just before the biologist could reach it, the grin on the demonic entities face growing wider. He took a moment to gather himself and reign in his amusement, before mock sighing at the other. “Newton, don’t be rude. Does it look like we’re done here?”
“Please…” was all Newt could muster as he pounded on the door, hoping it would somehow give way.

“Now, now, Newton. You protest so much, bare your weakness…How do you know he’s even still alive as we speak?” He grins wickedly toward the other, no hint of jesting in his expression, his eyes cold and unreadable.
Panic was absolutely visible on Newt’s face, without even considering the consequences, he made a mad dash for the door. He had to make sure this was just a cruel joke. If Hermann was dead.. He didn’t know what he would do.

We’d have a wonderful little talk, and he’d know that everything was your fault in the end. Give me one good reason why I shouldn’t find your weird little boyfriend, after how you thought to speak to me behind your little computer screen.”
Newt had a feeling in the pit of his stomach that this was all just futile, but he’d rather die than have anything happen to Hermann. “He had nothing to do with this. It’d be wasting your time to kill him, because what would stop me from speaking to you like that again? If you kill him, there goes all my impulse control, and also my will to live.”

He rolled his eyes deeply at the girls remaining enamored expression. She was hopeless. It wasn’t the worst so long as he gained things of actual value on occasion as a result, he supposed. Still, it was so tempting to throw her into a new dimension, let her be their problem for a while.
“Yes, yes, I suppose it’s not the worst thing you’ve given me. I don’t completely hate it.” He conceded.
Dementia squealed with happiness, Black Hat actually likes her gift! Sure, he said that he didn’t completely hate it, but it was better than to completely loathe.
She smiled dreamily at the demon and giggled with delight.

His disgust with being complimented in such a loving tone was clear as day across his face. He shouldn’t have been surprised that she would take those simple words and run with it, but he couldn’t help it. Her stupid obsession was prevalent as ever. Sigh.
“Yes, yes, whatever. Leave my office before I call in the HatBots.”

He glared deeply toward the other, the noise of her laughter grating on his nerves, patience, and his ears in general. Such a shrill, obnoxious noise, from a girl of similar description. Fitting, he supposes.
Though he would never admit, the proposal was rather interesting. He did love to be a thorn in the side of those that dedicated their meaningless and short lives to heroism, but he would rather disturb them with near anyone else. A thought dawned on him in that moment. If they did manage this, the hectic force could take her energy out on those sniveling do-gooders instead of him. Maybe there was some merit to the idea?
“Have you successfully completed your assignments for the day? Don’t try to lie to me, you know I will know, and I do not take kindly to being lied to.”
Dementia suddenly stood up straight and saluted Black Hat as she gleefully stuck her tongue out. Thank god she did or else her head would be on a silver platter that Black Hat would throw away.
❝ All completed , Boss ! I set fire to the child orphanage downtown , flooded all the hospitals , and framed Heavy Fist in stealing illegal fireworks ! ❞
With a sigh, he granted her a slight nod. So she had followed through with her orders...
Now he would put the previous offer to more consideration. Would it really be worth it to have to see her for an entire evening just to create some chaos? What really would be in it for him? He’d have to set some ultimatum so he could make something out of this.
“Fine, I suppose you’ve done sufficiently, for now. If you can assure there will be something of value that will be in our possession by the end of this evening, and that you will terrorize the pansy heroes to the absolute best of your ability, then we may attend that conference.”

“This… This is something I can safely say I am not disappointed in entirely…yet. Do not make me change my mind.” A twang of disgust runs through him at her positively goo-goo expression. Yes, this certainly was Demencia. Still, even her love-struck nature couldn’t quite break his good mood as he again was calculating prices he could charge for her services in his head.
“Forget the silly ray, this should work just fine. Have you adjusted to this… form yet? You’d be perfect for several well paying jobs.” He thinks on this a moment. Actually, being able to switch between could bring in further profit. Note to self: get Flug to drop all projects and set to repairing that ray. “You’re not in trouble. For now. We will have to train you to your new abilities so you preferably don’t destroy the manor.”
The large lizard was then instructed to follow the still grinning man with the simple motion of his hand. She was lead out into the manors yard. Without much further explanation, Black Hat began to create a small obstacle course and a scale model city with a snap of his claws.
“Okay!” Not that she’d disgusted him on purpose, she just kind of..did that sometimes, without really meaning to. It’s not her fault she’s so in love, is it?
“Uhmmmmm, sort of! I mean..I guess I’m still kinda adjusting.” She was mostly just not used to being so big..well, that and the tail. She gives a small nod as she stands and stretches. “Okey dokey!!” She had already done a small number on some things, like the floor, and the walls, and the ceiling, and she’d knocked over some things too..but she hadn’t totally wrecked the manor, so she’s giving herself an imaginary pat on the back for that one.
Demencia follows after Black Hat out to the yard, blinking as the course is created before her eyes. She looks from it to him, and then back at it again. “You want me to….do an obstacle course?”
Only bothering to half listen to the girl, taking what information he needed. He wouldn’t dwell too much on the probable damage to the manor, for now. No, he wouldn’t let that sour his mood quite yet. He always loved having a new destructive little toy to play with. Of course, in the figurative, as she was brilliantly large. Premium size for terrorizing!
He watches her eye the course hes created, hands held together behind his back as he still tries to stand with dignity and indignation in his eyes, despite now having to look up at her.
“Yes, that would be precisely what I want you to do. How else do you anticipate honing these new skills? I want to see what you can do.” He grins maliciously at the girl, thinking of just what to say for her cooperation. “And if you do well enough, we might just make a test run on the actual town. Wouldn’t you like that, Demencia?”
