    Walking through the quad, Jaune had his earbuds in his ears, blasting some classic rock that his parent raised him on and was looking at his college’s app to see what homework he had for the night. Thankfully there wasn’t much he had to do for his non-art classes.

     “Right…just some random math torture and then- OOF!” Jaune felt something solid collide with him and he fell on his rear, pain blooming.

     Getting his barrings, Jaune quickly stood up and looked at the person he bumped into, “S-Sorry about th-that! I w-wasn’t really l-look…ing…hey…you look familiar…did we go to the same highschool or something?”

    Blake had known better than to keep her nose buried in her book while she walked around the campus, but it had been nearly empty for the time of day and she had gotten to the best part. She should have waited till she got to her dorm though to read it since she ended up bumping into someone and knocking them over.

    She quickly jumped into action, putting her book away and was about to reach out a hand to help them up, but instead watched as he got up himself. “Oh no, don’t apologize I should have been watching where I was going too!” She quickly cut him off with a nervous smile. She blinked at him slightly as he seemed to recognize her, “Oh uh...I don’t...” It was a sudden slap to the face when she realized that she did know him and dread instantly filled her stomach.

    “N-no....we didn’t.....I think you might have me confused for someone else!”

    Archery was one of Blake’s best way to destress and relax. It was the only real reason she had joined the club when she found out there was one. It gave her access to the practice range and the equipment whenever. Her favorite thing about the club however, were the members. They were all interesting in their own ways, and made great company.

    She had been on her way to the practice range when she had spotted on of the other members of the archery club ahead of her. Usually she minded her own business but she had gotten comfortable enough with them that she found herself catching up with him and giving him a quick greeting. 

    “Hey Hitoshi, how was your day today?”

They Were Roommates || Blake & Lucy

    Lucy sighed in her empty apartment for what felt like the hundredth time that hour. Lucy lived in her two person apartment by herself since she enrolled at Blackwood, and she hated it. Lucy was a extroverted person most of the time and while she did talk to her classmates and tried to hangout with them, it wasn’t the same as actually living with someone.

     Turning onto her stomach on the couch, she started to stare at the door, “God, if you’re listening right now…please just give me a roommate…”

    Blake wasn’t sure if she had made the best choice in not requesting a single dorm like she had the year before, but she had promised her family that she would be trying new things this year. Plus she knew they were benefits to having a roommate, at least if you got a good one that is.

    All the raven haired girl had to do was keep hope that she would have a good roommate, if she started doubting her luck then it would only lead to the bad luck she felt followed her from time to time. With a small breath, she walked into the small apartment.

     “Um...hello? Is anyone here?” She called out as she made her way inside with a few bags in hand.”

    Blake had been in need of a new study spot, not that the library wasn’t the best place, but it felt cramped. Too many people for her liking, though it was nice to see so many people dedicated to their studies. But that had been what had led her to finding the school gardens for the first time and Blake knew instantly that this was going to be the best place to study.

    It was beautiful, the students who tended to it did a wonderful job and she decided then that this was going to be her knew study spot so she could admire their hard work and also simply enjoy nature. It was a bonus that not many people were at the garden during her prefered studying hours. Though she was well aware that she’d end up running into someone sooner or later like she had today.

     The male she had found when she had walked into the gardens seemed to be tending to the flowers. She figured he was probably part of the gardening club and silently approached him. 

     “Are you one of the student’s in the gardening club?”

    Blake had made a mistake that day when she had decided to skip lunch to spend that time studying. She knew better than to try and go a whole day without eating until dinner, it never ended well and it was an unhealthy habit. 

    She was now starving, and on the completely other side of campus from the cafeteria. A quick glance at her phone for the time told her that she’d probably not make it in time before they closed and she felt her heart drop at the thought. She wasn’t sure if she still had food in her dorm and she wasn’t sure if Lucy would be okay if she ate her leftovers. Blake let out a small defeated sigh, she was at a lose and was now probably going to have to wait a little longer to grab something to eat. 

     Preparing to make, she paused when she suddenly smelled something delicious down the hall. Without a second thought, she quickly followed the scent and peeked into the small kitchen and spotted someone cooking something she hadn’t seen before. She usually never bothered anyone, but she was a bit curious to know what he was making.

    “That smells delicious....what is it?”
