“ You know, I don’t understand the concept of homework. ” Montana let out an over-exaggerated sigh, slouched over his math books and desk in the study halls. “ I mean, for starters, we’re a boarding school. We don’t have a home. ” He joked, looking up at the other who sat across from him, fingers toying with the pen he held in his hand. @bmhqstarters
To her luck, the choir room was empty at lunch and to her knowledge it wasn’t booked by any other students so Sutton decided to make use of the space during her lunch break. Situated comfortably in front of a microphone stand, an original track her parents had produced and sent to her played through the speakers on her space grey mac book while Sutton sung words that she had written to accompany the track, completely lost in the music.

going to the common room to study after school was not a good idea. maggie had somehow ended up falling asleep in one of the large chairs in the corner and even missed dinner. the bad dream that she was having made her wake up with a jolt and a large in take of air. “the snake is over there.” she mumbled to herself, still obviously reeling from her nightmare.

Leaning against the cobblestone wall of the hallway as she continued to stare at the small Freshmen before her. Examining her freshly manicured nails, though her eyes never left the Freshmen as she watched them struggle to gather up all their school things, an almost bored expression on her face, though anyone who knew Katarina knew that her mind was always ticking, always plotting something. Gracefully pushing herself off the wall as she walked towards the Freshmen, that confident stride she’d had since she first entered these hallowed halls, barely even glancing at them, her delicate hand reaching out and pushing their books from their struggling hands without even glancing at them, a simple albeit cruel little laugh escaping as she continued to saunter past the now clamoring Freshmen student.

Julian wondered why he’d ever thought drinking was a good idea. He hadn’t even gotten that drunk at the party but the headache he was sporting right now was killer. He couldn’t focus on anything, let alone school. Groaning, he put his head down on the table, ignoring his lunch. The thought of eating right now made his stomach churn. All he could really think about was how much time he was wasting being atrociously hungover, which only made his headache worse. A nap was out of the question and no way was he going to skip the first week of classes either. When he saw someone out of the corner of his eye, he didn’t even hesitate before reaching a hand out, “Pleaaaase tell me you have painkillers. I am suffering right now.” At this point, all he could was pray someone would take pity on him and end his pain.
Being the new kid sucked. Yeah, it was a big enough school now that the two came together, but he was still new. With rugby practice taking up all his time, he had been living out of his suitcase for the past few days and had only just managed to sit down and sort his stuff out in his shared room. He didn’t bother going to the party or even explore the school further, he was here on scholarship, so best not to stand out. Unpacking his largest suitcase was a feat onto itself, and so that’s what Oliver started with. As soon as he opened the case, an old footie ball his brother’s had snuck in there popped out and made its way into the hall through the open door. Running after it, Oliver came face to face with someone who had managed to get to it before he did. “–Shit, sorry. Didn’t even know I pack the fuckin’ thing…”
“oh, so what happened at the pool party? i heard it was a blast…yet everyone keeps saying something bad happened??” ava said more to herself rather anyone else. she was thinking-out-loud, sketching in her book.
“anyone else completely humiliate themselves on friday night, or was that just me?”
"how is it possible to still be hungover from friday night?” she asked, putting her school bag down beside her as she sat down for lunch. “i almost chundered in third period.”
– “YOU’RE cute, but you talk too much,” alia mused, swirling the remnants of her cup in front of her as she realized the other had finally taken a moment to breath. she’d finished her drink some time ago, and now all that was left were two half-melted ice cubes that’d she’d taken to jostling around their container. small talk had never really been something she was great at, especially when it didn’t involve sports of some sort. “but i mean… don’t stop talking. i don’t – wanna be alone or anything. i just… don’t know the first thing about anything you just said.”
