I don't give 2 shits about Taylor Swift but honestly the shittiness of her lyricism is such a massive point in her favor and I mean that. Everything else about her is so corporate, the awful janky songwriting is by far her most human quality as an artist. "Sometimes I feel like everybody is a sexy baby, And I'm a monster on the hill" is SO baffling. No board room wrote that. That's blisteringly authentic.
