Knit sweater in the works!
I’ve never knit a sweater before. It feels very daunting and the weight of the yarn alone is enough to make me want to throw in the towel-- or yarn ;) But I’m going to power through and just take it slow and *hopefully* I’ll have a brand new sweater in time for the winter!
What are your winter projects?
For real though, I need this on a mug, a shirt, tattoo, wallpaper... this is me.
Deep purple berries and gold birdie scissors
Surround yourself with objects that bring you joy and you will always feel your best. For me, that means flowers both living and dead, neutral color palettes, gold jewelry and accents, clutterless rooms, plants, natural light, meaningful discussions, a great drink (alcoholic or not!), cats, and a deep breath of fresh autumn air.
What objects or scenarios bring you joy?

My goldenrod weaving before it was sent to its forever home.
I love incorporating florals into my wall hangings. It adds a beautiful texture and depending on the type of flower, it also adds an amazing aroma to your room! Goldenrod is one of my favorite scents and it was hard to give this one up <3
My rigid heddle loom is warped and ready to go!
Allow me to introduce myself...
Hey there! My name is Sara and I’m the creator of bobbinweave, my very own small business. I live in Philadelphia with my boyfriend and our 3 cats (yes we’re outnumbered by cats and yes they sometimes gang up on us for treats). I knit and weave fabric, and am beginning to delve into knit pattern writing and sewing patterns from my woven fabric. It’s a slow-moving process because there just aren’t enough hours in the day to do everything I’m passionate about!
I also have a few DIY patterns/how-to’s up my sleeve that I’ll post soon as I complete more. My studio is currently full of yarn, looms, and ideas, so stay tuned to my journey!
