Barbara ‘Bobbi’ Morse is the name of a woman who has a long list of credentials. She has a Ph. D in Biochemistry from the Georgia Institute of Technology and is known as Agent 19 to S.H.I.E.L.D. She was a freelance agent, employed as Chief of Security for Cross Technological Enterprises when she met and married Clint Barton. After their divorce, she and her sister Jane became close friends with Isabella Hartley. During a mission in Dubai, she met and fell in love with Lance Hunter. The unraveling of their marriage came at the hands of the job, yet another divorce didn’t stop Bobbi from completing her work at S.H.I.E.L.D.

Bobbi worked undercover with HYDRA as head of Security for some time, only breaking her cover when Jemma Simmons life was in danger. Before this however, Bobbi was on a mission given to her by Nick Fury. Protocol ASTA06 was to blow up the aircraft carrier Iliad in case it’s cargo was at the risk of being stolen. However when Bobbi boarded she discovered S.H.I.E.L.D agents were being held captured by HYDRA – together with Hartley and Mack they were able to take down the HYDRA agents and save the commander of the ship, Robert Gonzales.

Bobbi during the war was replaced by a Skrull. However, both her skull self and her were abducted by Satannish the Supreme. Eventually her skrull counterpart got killed and she got captured by the Skrulls again who put her on the West Coast , surrounded by skrull "friends." She escaped but was surprised to find herself stranded on an alien planet. For years (for her, months on Earth), she survived in hiding on the Skrull planet, gaining herself a reputation as the "Robed Witch," a scary figure in Skrull children's ghost stories. She eventually came out of hiding to kill the Skrull who had posed as Clint. After she killed him, she was re-captured and placed together with the rest of the prisoners from Earth. When Earth won the war, she was freed.

She has founded the World Counterterrorism Agency a few months ago, and has been working in the shadows. Rarely reconnecting with the people of her past.

Leave it to Bobbi to point out the other angle of his current team mates. "Well, Yelena doesn't seem too bad. Brock, on the other hand? Pretty sure he's planning which meal he wants to eat my head with." Eddie was his biggest concern, followed by Harry. The kid just - wasn't all there. Now Karla and Yelena? Could easily kill him if he gave them the right reason but both had appeared to be on his side. For now.

The mention of his family made him sigh rather heavily. "Nate is great. He's still with his aunt. I get the occasional update from Cooper but he's mostly doing his own thing. And Lila....well, I wouldn't be me if I didn't screw up with at least one of my kids. She's around New York but I don't hear from her. I'm trying to keep an eye on her but she's a Barton."

Bobbi scoffed. She leaned towards. "Well, from experience, I do not blame him. You are a tasty treat. " she retorted. It was so long ago, but she thought of them sometimes, mostly how complicated it had been, but also how connected they were , working like an unit. Spies rarely had nice love stories, and thus he had found Laura shortly after. She however, thought it appropriate to tease him on that .

"Family is a complicated matter, even more so for you. 2 out of 3 is not bad. " she took her card out of her pocket. "Since that's what my job is now, and the real reason why I am here, if you ever want to keep a closer tap on her, I'll give you 10% off my firm's services." she shamelessly plugged her detective agency.

"I'm glad you reached out," Natasha greeted as she sat down opposite of Bobbi. She had gotten word that she was in New York and she was curious. If Bobbi hadn't reached out she might have made a stop at her hotel to catch up with what brought her out here. "Did you get too much sun on the West Coast?"

Bobbi had a soft smile. If someone could even begin to understand her on a female level and survivor level, it had always been Natasha. "All of it. I hit a wave of depression stepping off the plane. Really forgot that how grey and oppressive NY was." she admitted. "And how has being the lead Avenger been treating you ? "

It was always a delight to see them. They grew closer with their time on the west coast. As the hug came, Bobbi hugged Kate with a genuine joy, a bit tight. She did miss them quite a bit. "Guilty as charged I'm afraid. and no, this time, I needed to make the trip here myself. You cannot imagine how many people I had to set a meeting with to not get bombarded mid-work. " she sighed. She took Kate's hand. "But how have you been my dear? How's New York treating you ? "

"Clinton? Should I be worried that you're using my full name?" Normally whenever she used that he was in trouble. And given everything that happened, yeah he couldn't blame her for being mad at it. "Oh, it's great. I love working with people who are mad, deranged or pissed at me for one reason or another. And the constant surveillance? So great."

She thanked the waiter who came back with her order and drank a bit , not before testing if the food and drink were okay with a tester. Her paranoia, she wasn't hiding it anymore. " We're were in a surveillance state before Hammer, even before 2012, that did not move you back then." she pointed out. "And how's your family? "

"sorry, sorry!" the light voice carrying her welsh accent carried in the small cafe. pixie took a seat down across from bobbi, her eyes glued to her backpack as she rummaged through it. "sorry about that. i thought we mentioned meeting in an hour but here you are, i guess i am wrong. but i suppose time is no difference when i can just teleport us where we-oh shit you're not kitty." she said looking into the face of someone who very much was not an x-men. "uh…..hi there friend."

At first Bobbi didn't say anything, she saw that ball of chaos approach from afar. And god, how she was not paying attention to her environnement. She envied that. She, always had eyes everywhere, for good reason. Different worlds, she couldn't have that much innocence. She saw her sit down and cocked an eyebrow. "No I'm not. " she replied with some amusement in her tone. "You're welcome to sit there and wait for your friend, the place is a bit crowded."

"I mean, if we want to get into the semantics of it all, you had to leave the West Coast to come do business here." He was being difficult but then again, it was all part of his charm - or lack thereof. He ordered a coffee as well. "Bobs, you and I both know no one could sneak up on you, even if they tried. Unless it was Nat because she could sneak up on a motion-sensored robot." But he laughed under his breath and nodded. "It's good to see you."

"That is true ... both statements" Bobbi replied and gave Clint a more genuine smile. "It is good to see you too Clinton." she stated. She stopped a waiter to order a coffree and let Clint order what he wanted. "You would have taken it personally if I didn't meet up with you. So how is it to work for reformed SHIELD ?" she asked.

Clint relaxed against the back of the chair. Honestly, so far so good, but the meeting was still early. Not only that but the lack of warmth in her eyes was foreboding. Something was coming - he just didn't know what. "I shouldn't be surprised - it was national news. Don't tell me you left the West Coast because of that, Bobs."

"I didn't leave West Coast, I'm not coming back here. " she stated and ordered a coffee. "I'm just here on business, and I thought ...why not catch up with some people, while I'm here, you know. Better that , than everyone accidentally stumbling on me. " she joked dryly.

Clint was actually surprised when he got the message from Bobbi that she was in New York and wanted to meet up. Well, yes and no. He was sure this was not at all going to be a happy visit. So he left SHIELD and after double checking to make sure that no one was following him, he walked into the cafe and spotted her. "Y'know, when I saw your message, I was almost sure this was some sort of prank," he said as he sat down across from her. "You're looking good. West Coast is treating you well."

There was always a bittersweet feeling when seeing, meeting, talking to Clint. It was worse than with Hunter. Between them, there were many regrets, much pain. She loved that man still, but being in his presence, hurt her heart, much more than she liked to admit. "Yeah, my social skills improved since the war." she replied and give him a smile that did not reach her eyes. There was no spark in her eyes anymore. "A bit more sun and a bit more warmth can do miracles. " she lifted a finger to order. " How have you been Clint? Saw you on the news "

New York was not really a city she loved, she never really did. Maybe it was because she was a West girl, maybe it was because a lot happened here and she did not feel like facing all the memories. Yet she had to be here for some business. She knew that as soon as her name would ping, a few people would make contact. Some per phone, some popping up behind her and saying hi. However, you could not just pop behind her without her noticing, she was, always on alert. It never stopped. So, to avoid some unwanted attention because people missed her, she simply reached out to those people and was now waiting at a café to meet and catch up.
