How did you promote the event? I joined kinda late while it was running so I missed all the setup - I'd like to run a big bang of my own but I don't know how to get the word out.

Hello! I can't see how old this ask is, but I hope this is helpful.

I just posted in a few Discord servers, asked participants to reblog, etc. Some people also do Twitter, but I did not want to do that. We also used a bit of preliminary art and sneak peaks to build buzz.

Hi! Do you know if the bang will be returning again in 2022? It seems like the 2021 reveal just happened, but since sign-ups for that started in May, we're really only a month off! :o

I'm certainly not organizing it this year -- I was thinking of it as a onetime event for the Book of Boba Fett premier -- but if someone else wants to take it over, I'm happy to pass on the materials/etc that we used!

Summary: Boba Fett follows no creeds and offers his allegiance to no one. But being Mandalorian, being Haat Mando’ade, doesn’t require swearing a creed. All that is necessary is to follow the Resol’nare, the Six Actions that make one Mandalorian. Boba Fett refused to answer when Din Djarin asked if he was Mandalorian, but through the lens of Legends Mandalorian culture, the answer is more simple than he thinks.

Boba snorts, saying: He’s helping Dengar haul eight-crates worth of tools into Dengar’s outbound ship.

Reaching the door to the indoor market stalls, Din says: Paz has always been like that. If you asked him, he’d call it ‘strength training,’ but he’s doing it for Grogu. After you. 

Boba, with one hand on the door: He’s Mandokarla. And after you, Mand’alor. I have the door. 

Din, holding Grogu who looks interested by something out of the frame: I can’t believe you call gossiping: “sitreps.”

Boba, fingerguns at the ready: I don’t see what that, has to do with opening the door for you and Grogu.

Out of frame, Din says: It’s why you’re going first.

Boba: heh. Alright let’s get Grogu some grub.

Din: ok. There are lots of dishes here to choose from. 

The last panel shows them in the markets. Din walking up some stairs with Grogu, who’s pointing at something. Din says: Boba is asking Yaldeyi if she has any desert frogs for you, so we’ll ask Jaarak. They’re kind. What do you see?

Boba says ‘thank you’ to a Togruta woman leaning on a counter. END ID]

This is my solo piece [Art] The tide turns, returning. that I’ve been working on for the @bobfbigbang event! I’m really happy with how this came out. I have a few small moments within this AU that I want to draw, so I may come back to this story line sometime next year and expand it. [A]TTTR is also on AO3 :)
