The #mead bottling ordeal is complete. Lessons learned: 1. Enlist a second pair of hands. It's difficult to keep the auto-siphon at the appropriate level whiling trying to push down on the bottle filler. 2. It might be worth while to just buy bottles next time. Removing labels is a pain in the ass. 3. Boglé bottles win the most infuriating label removal this bottling session. 4. The two-lever corker worked great! Did the mead turn out any good? It's hard to say at this point. The flavor is a little off-putting currently, but it still has to age for another 6-9 months. I've read that it can be like that at first, but mellows significantly after the aging period. So I guess a final verdict is 1/2 to 3/4 a year out.
