Sunwoven - Entryway

Hey everyone!

Finally I'm here with the next part of the Sunwoven Collection which would be the Entryway. I have to admit, creating this set wasn’t quite the experience I had hoped for. I really wanted to make doors for this part, and I’ve been working hard on them for quite a while. But since I didn’t have enough time to finish all the variations, I decided to include them in the next part instead. I never really know how much work I’ll have at my graphic design job, sometimes it’s manageable, but other times, like these past few weeks, it gets really hectic. That’s why I had less time to finish this set. So sorry for being a little absent, this was the reason. But to make up for it, I made three plants instead, something I wouldn’t have had time for if I’d finished the doors.

About the set itself, I think it kind of speaks for itself. It includes furniture and decor objects for the entryway. My initial idea with Sunwoven is to add plant to each set I'm releasing. That was my first inspiration and I'm happy I could do the 3 new plants. I want to get better at creating plants and honestly I love plants in real life, I love taking care of them and I feel proud every time a new leaf appears. It was so much fun to browse plant webshops to search for references, and let me tell you I have some new plants on my wishlist to buy and also to transform to CC.

As I mentioned earlier, I added two pieces to this set that I actually own in real life. I love seeing my own things in the game. :D They are the round bag and sandals and I think they add a cozy, lived-in feel to the space.

I hope you'll like these items because although I had less time to do them but I really loved bringing this entryway to life.

Hello! It's time for another addon! The Enchanted by Nature Addon is now available!

One of the highlights of this addon is the highly requested single bed! Apart from that, there are a couple of new tables, seating options and archways, alongside a couple of separated objects such as bookshelves and wall decorations.

There are 35 items included in this addon. You can easily find the items in buy mode by searching for "Enchanted by Nature Addon" or "IllogicalSims" using the in-game search function.

Install

the main ones i use by chingu1023 are the ones that stop pets exploring party bushes and getting dirty/sick from them, but they seem to have a wide range

ummm i have more QOL script mods than i've likely had hot dinners, so if you're looking for something specific, let me know

UI Cheats for when things go wrong. which they often do

general gameplay mods i use are few and far between! most of what i install is to keep the game running (relatively) smoothly and save my sanity. but i do use First Impressions and Wicked Whims

Genetics + Makeup

i use much of what @akitasimblr has listed here, chiefly opal eyes, nose shine and cleavage overlay

jari-sims for default feet (more detailed than the slabs of flesh that Maxis gives us but still Maxis Match), nude fingernails and eyelashes

there's another slightly shorter nude fingernail set i use, but the file name just has "mb" listed in it and i can't remember the full creator name

kijiko for eyelashes

bobnewbie for more subtle body hair

lamington-sims also has a lot of skin details

peachyfaerie's hint of colour blush is what i apply on all my sims (except Vlad) just to give some pigmentation to their face and stop them from looking lifeless

kumikya's ginger lip gloss, nolan sim's burt bees lipstick (add ons), twisted cat for general make up

i don't really use cc eyebrows or body presets so i'm not much help there

i know that i have a set of mouth and nose presets but as they came in files from others' sims, i don't know what they're called. also saving a sim that used them to the tray importer didn't help :x

Hairs

kissalopa is great for recolours. if you've ever wanted more dye options or thought, "oh, I'd love that hair but if only the accessory colour was different," this is for you

i don't need to introduce simandy and wistfulcastle (great if you want hair a little more detailed but not quite Alpha) but here they are anyway. wistfulcastle also has some improvements of vanilla game hairs - i slap their Caleb Vatore hair on that fanged pretty boy the instant he appears in any new save file

not a creator myself but everyone raves about how well-weighted laeska's hairs are, and i totally get the hype. there's also different styling for the same hair if you're like me and mixing, say, an everyday look with no bangs then an athletic look with bangs breaks your immersion

saurus is great for different styles for the same hair. and improved vanilla styles

thatonegreenleaf has some fun and more unusual styles. likewise more detailed than your standard Maxis Match fare

arethabee - also for jewelry! i don't use as much cc jewelry as i'd like as a lot of cc eyelashes use the same mapping (if i have that term correct) as rings so there are clashes

oakiyo too. not all hairs are hat compatible but they're really good at listing which are and which aren't

likewise probably needs no introduction, but jius for shoes

i love a good recolour so doubleplumbob really helps to stretch out vanilla cas content

sentate for formalwear - need i say more?

someone-elsa has really cute patterns with a fun beachwear vibe

creamlattedream has some adorable male frame cas, especially for pajamas, which just puts the fun back into dressing them. the branded hoodie that one of my sims wears always gets comments about how cute it is

hexcodesims also does some great conversions/adjustments of vanilla cas items for male frame sims. and i like how they use two sims with different body types as models

the latest sim i've sent off to someone else's save is a gender nonconforming pixel who loves their pops of colours, so i've really got into clumsyalien's tops

faded springs does cute recolours, both of vanilla game cas and cc, but i had some trouble accessing their site

kumikya has a solid range of more basic styles

solistair also has a good range, including of activewear basics. plus the heart patch jeans that i regularly get asked about are from them

saruin's cc! it's just so pretty and queer positive and fun

miiko for anything whimsical and pretty

renorasims. i put every other female frame sim of mine in the winter coats

i feel like anyone else i could add is already widely known so i'll just leave it there
