no but for real, one of my favorite things about the eoran pantheon is that it tackles a problem in fantasy roleplaying where fictional gods can be too cleanly categorizable, and also are worshipped across all cultures somehow, and it does that by asking "What if there was a reason for that? One that had to be covered up by a centuries old conspiracy?"
Eoran catacomb saints? In my game?
Went to the Ashen Maw at level 13 with the idea that I would gain a bit of an advantage over Jadarferlas
Level 14, I'm having Rekke carry so many grenades that we can bring down the place ourselves

making my way through the prologue with my new watcher and man that walk from Cilant Lîs to Gilded Vale must have been so depressing. like everyone else in that caravan died, you suddenly awaken and start hearing voices and seeing things and you're just. alone on the road for hours with your thoughts (and the visions!).

Powerful. Clear. Inspiring
Despite it all I got a load of inspiration, so I finished the first chapter of my first Pillars fanfic (aaaah!)
For anyone interested in the misadventures of the Watcher, Vatnir and Rekke, you can find it here:

Got to the pirate cannibalism island yesterday. Did not enjoy
Vatnir: Our elders told stories about this place, the Vytmádh—the White Maw—and about the endless void beyond.
Vatnir: A few years ago, a man named Glasvahl led his clan to the Frost-Hewn Breach in Eir Glanfath, seeking a path from this world to the realm of Rymrgand.
Vatnir: They returned with a story of a portal to the White Void, and the cold that flowed from it. A tale that reminded many of the Vytmádh.
Vatnir: They never returned.
Vatnir: The tale passed from mouth to ear to mouth again, and people began to think - if Glasvahl could escape, why can't we?
Vatnir: I suppose I saw in that an opportunity. A chance to leave the Land behind. So I claimed I'd had a vision. That the Beast was calling me.
Vatnir: The lie was more successful than I could have imagined. And I can imagine quite a lot.
