A small note on tagging as it's been a hot topic of late: any meme posts I make that have GO3 screenshots (like this one does, at the end) will be tagged as Good Omens 3, and asanthony/fellony/effable husbands as applicable. Anything very angsty will, as ever, get put beneath the cut. I can't see me making more memes using The Decision scenes (I say this as someone who liked the finale, btw!) but if I do I'll tag it as The Decision going forward, just like I tagged The Final Fifteen as needed in pre-GO3 meme posts

This scene is from the fifth and final chapter (before the epilogue), and it's one of my absolute favourites. After spending the entire story holding himself back, this is where Crowley's true personality finally breaks through all the tension and the sillies came out.

I just finished posting my Summer Bang fic, One Last Hurrah (28k, M), so if you don't do WIPs, then this is ready-to-read.

It's a human AU, about Aziraphale having "one last hurrah" - a solo holiday in Valencia, before he starts a new job. Crowley is a tour guide. Cue a Shirley Valentine-esque holiday fling (but with a happy ending). I got matched with traditional artist @alwaystuesday for this Bang, which meant the fic includes this amazing watercolour pencil picture of Crowley waking up in a Spanish hotel. Always Tuesday was incredibly kind enough to send me the original!! But you can actually buy the print here.

Now that he's old enough to have godchildren that he adores, his favorite summer tradition is taking them to see all that the festival has to offer. But he'd be lying if he said tradition was the only thing keeping him coming back year after year. Then again, you'll never get him to admit to his coy infatuation with the attractive red-headed man who operates the Ferris Wheel...

Chapter 7: The World Seemed to Tilt returns us to Northwoods, where a quiet morning by the lake changes everything.

There are herons, coffee, lakeside mornings, and a rather serious conversation.

Aziraphale arrives at the Northwoods writing retreat in 2016 and unexpectedly forms a close connection with Crowley. When he arrives, Crowley has made up his mind to marry his manager Shax. The two writers become inseparable each summer that follows and stay in touch in between. Crowley doesn't have to know Aziraphale feels more than friendship, right? Some love stories are tumultuous, like a summer storm on the ocean. This one is like paddling down a lazy river. It's beautifully paced, and gently written. This story updates regularly. But, if you don't read WIPs, make sure you bookmark or subscribe so you don't miss out when it's complete (I'll mark it complete on the pinned post on this site too). Getting back together

It’s hard when they're broken up, isn’t it? Luckily they always find their way back to each other.

Lovely and angsty human AU (with a happy ending, of course!) A sweet story of forgiveness, of overcoming one’s insecurities and taking the difficult step of truly letting the other person see us.

And I’ve Got This Missing Piece, by 3obby. Rated E, 21k. P. Apr 26.

Exes to lovers human AU told across two timelines. Our Ineffables’ insecurities lead to misunderstandings and pain. When Crowley flies back to London after two years, he picks his ex’s Azirapahle book at the airport and reads it on the plane. Big mistake. But, fear not! There is a happy ending, talking things through, great smut and sweet fluff waiting for you along the way and at the end, as well as some surprising and very welcome characterisation! Lovely story!

The Secrets I Have Held In My Heart, by thinkinginscripts. Rated M, 38k. P. Aug 25.

You know when every now and then there’s a story, both in published fiction or in fanfiction, that you wish you hadn’t read so you could read it for the first time? This is one of those stories for me. This version of Crowley and Aziraphale touched me so, so deeply. I still think about them weeks after I read the fic. Compelling, emotional, deep, funny, touching. Human AU in which Aziraphale is born into a wealthy family and Crowley is born into a working class family. They were never meant to be together, but they come to an arrangement. Described by the author as A reverse-ish human AU where Ezra is an angel and Crowley is from the wrong side of town. 

I wish I could find the right words to make sure everyone gives this fiction a try so they can judge for themselves, but I can’t so just trust me, OK?

It does depict an unhealthy relationship, so do mind the tags, but please don’t be discouraged!

Planet Earth Turns Slowly (G, 6k, canon) is a story about the last Saturday of the summer break - with only one school year to go before the dreaded apocalypse. 

The antichrist is coming home from summercamp, but unfortunately neither his parents nor the usual babysitters are available to welcome the boy home. The Dowlings have asked the tutors - Mr Cortese and Mr Harrison - to be the welcome committee instead.

This sunny afternoon we follow Aziraphale (Mr Cortese) around; who has some ideas on how to celebrate the last Saturday of summer with Warlock. 

Crowley (Mr Harrison) on the other hand, has to first get rid of another demon before he can enjoy the last of summer with his angelic counterpart.
