A friend's cat has been recently found to likely have cancer in a recent update, and her household is struggling to cover the vet bills to get them treatment. Her gf has set up a gfm, and any and all reblogs are extremely appreciated

Over the last two weeks, I noticed a shift in Alan's general mood and temperament. In the past week, he stopped eating regularly, drinking water, and using the bathroom altogether. Concerned, I took Alan to the vet, where we did bloodwork and gave him fluids. Nothing immediately stood out, so we brought him home, hoping it was just a minor issue. However, after another day without improvement, we returned to the vet for an X-ray. The results revealed a potential mass, which could be either lymphoma or carcinoma. This news has been incredibly difficult to process, and we are now facing urgent decisions about Alan's care.

So far, Alan's vet bills have grown, and the next step is an ultrasound to help us understand what is happening. If the mass is cancerous, his care will become even more expensive, but right now, our focus is on getting a clear diagnosis and addressing his immediate needs. Alan is not just a pet—he is my best friend and has been a source of comfort and strength for me and my family. I truly believe that without him, I wouldn't be here today.

We are asking for help to cover the cost of Alan's ultrasound and a portion of his existing vet bills. Any support you can offer would mean the world to us and help give Alan the best chance at recovery. Thank you for considering helping our little guy during this challenging time.
