i'll pay u in candy lil boys & girls
Opening a candy shop certainly wasn’t in Lante’s bucket list. Between revenge and watching out for a beast like brother, he really didn’t seem to have the time to indulge in sweet, literal nothings. But in honesty, when he looked at the dusty, old shop - he found himself swelling in pride. Dante there or not, he was so happy to be doing something that didn’t involve politics, kingdom management, or whatever else. Of course, it would’ve been so much better - so much better - had his twin be there. He still felt a little twinge of pain tugging at his heart as he had tried to block it out.
Now, Lante was a man who procrastinated. A lot. Like a lot. He’d been here for weeks but alas, he still has yet to ah, actually… clean and open his shop. Rolling a jawbreaker in his mouth, he played with the broom he’s been holding for ten minutes, ignoring the fact that he could’ve been done sweeping dust, dirt, and probable broken glass all up already.
This is the real reason he needed workers. Let’s be real - all Lante wants to do is eat candy and ring people out. Someone save his store.
Deciding he’ll finally get off his ass and complete his uh, goal of opening his candy store, he had started to sweep.. And sweep and ah - wait. There’s dust flying everywhere. Coughing, he…re comes the train wreck.
As he continued to cough, he took a few step backwards and leaned back into his counter, knocking down a few boxes with his elbow. Ah, maybe he should’ve waited before taking them all in. As the dust continued to spread into the air - thanks, ceiling fan! - he coughed more, to the point where he had to get out of there.
Lante is an A+ wreck.
Dust covering his clothes and lightly falling onto his face, he looked at the closest person who happened to be walking by his trash of a place.

"… So, I’ll totally pay you in candy… or… in cash, eventually… If you want to help me clean this place up for the opening —"
Please save this man.
It's easy to find out where your spouse is suppose to work, given papers and places where you can locate them. This city's a blessing from time to time when it comes to things like this, anyway, the male makes his way to a shop where candy is suppose to be sold but coming in, this didn't look like one at all. It has boxes and dust and stuff he couldn't eat which allows a sad whine from his lips. Luckily he isn't expecting to eat anything from here and if Akaashi or Rouga had brought him here just for that, his hair would have acted like a set of ears and shifted down in sadness.
Closing the door behind him and with a tilt of his head, he looks around the area and walks over boxes so that he doesn't fall. The jacket he wears is hanging off his shoulders, a sort of warmth for him as he moves through the slightly cold shop. Maybe it's been abandoned. Who knows. It isn't too long until he hears boxes dropping and dust cover the area which brings Bokuto to sneeze since it's too much for his bird-like senses. He raises a hand to knock away the dust a debris by him and when he's noticed by someone, he turns their way with a smile.
They had even fell, well, what a great fall, not like Bokuto could say that. He's an idiot but not that big of one. He walks over and extends a hand to help the other, "Cool, cool!! Can I have like glad bags of them.. Like three? I'll help though." He points to himself after getting the other back to his feet, it's not good to see him well down and about and even Bokuto doesn't like seeing people down, per se. He doesn't care about that and the fact he has one of his friend's wallets, the Oikawallet tho.
Now candy is nice because he likes to get it for his friends who probably can't get any at this moment and would like to do that for him, sadly because of this proposition, the male forgot why he's here. Now what he's to do is clean which, in fact he doesn't even clean at home unless he's told. Looking around and grabbing a box from on the floor, he sets it on a counter before looking back the other's direction. "OO. Do we have a time limit! I don't have anywhere to go so I can do this all day. I'd just need a break from time to time!! I have to call some people and see if they're doing OK, they'll be sad if I don't tell them where I am." It's because of his disposition of being eighteen and acting like hes four years old.
Rubbing his hands of the dust from his hands, "Hey, hey, heeey!! Where do all these boxes have to go anyway! Do we just take them to the back or outside!?"
