PLUS Highway Claim Procedures
If driving on the highway, we always bumped into objects that prevent our smooth journey like fragments of tires, bumper, iron, stone, wood and others. If we hit our vehicle and it breaks down, did you know we can claim with the PLUS? This is because the vehicle was insured through Highway.
The procedure is simple, follow STEPS below:
1. Contact Plus Ronda 1800 88 00 00 (behind Touch n Go cards or transit tickets)
2. Let them know location of the accident and that the accident was caused the obstruction, make sure how accident happened and provide the location by reading to them the milestone at the side railings.
3. If your vehicle can still move, exit at the closest toll plaza. Keep receipts taken. If touch n go or smart tag print from Plus website.
4. Please make statements at counter toll plaza. Then the party will confirm correctness of the incident and Plus will take a picture of your vehicle.
5. Make a report to traffic police near or in the area.
6. Submit claim to Plus with the police report and photos of your vehicle before repair and after repair. While your insurance claim vehicles or use their own money. There shall be in the form of content there.
7. PLUS will reimburse you within 14 days from the date you submitted any police report and pictures.

Upon checking the received good, I have found that it was an used unit. I have took pictures of the defects that I have identified as follows:
Bread Baking Pan was oily and dirty, with stains of used ingredients and dented.
Bread Baking Pan's holder is rusty.
Side of the Baking Chamber was dented and crooked.
Interior of the Baking Chamber was yellowish with burn marks.

Recently I have bought this deal from MYDEAL.com.my:Takada Deluxe Bread Maker (1 year warranty) for RM335 on 15 May,2013 and the first unit that arrived on 30th May, 2013, have the following defect(but they from MYDEAL&TAKADA quote is a brand new unit):
Bread Baking Pan was oily and dirty, with stains of used ingredients and dented.
Bread Baking Pan's holder is rusty.
Side of the Baking Chamber was dented and crooked.
Interior of the Baking Chamber was yellowish with burn marks.
I have took photos of the defects and shown them.
MYDEAL wants me to return the unit on my own and rebate the courier cost by E-Voucher, which I had done so even though, it supposed to be their responsibility to collect back from me.
Then the second unit was received and this time, they(MYDEAL/TAKADA) quote that they have checked thoroughly before sending it out to me, but with defects again. This time it was as follows:
Side of Chamber not well fitted and little crooked
Bread baking pan still looked dirty and stained and this time with scratches around the bottom
The programme buttons which are attached to a plastic form panel in front of the bread maker was not well fitted.
The cover of the bread maker also loose as though it will fall off anytime soon.
So another complaint to MYDEAL.com.my. I have requested for full money refund since this is not a quality products as per guaranteed by MYDEAL.com.my in their website "100% Money Back Guaranteed" & "100% Quality Guaranteed".
MYDEAL's answer to me is, merchant (TAKADA) has replaced the first unit and will not entertain any complaint as they quoted to have checked the second unit before sending it out. The most they can do is to ask me to deal directly from TAKADA and to bring the unit back to TAKADA's office for repair!!
My questions are, I have bought deal from MYDEAL.com.my, but when problem occurred they push it back to me to deal directly with the merchant and I have to send the product back to merchant myself. Then where does their statement on "100% Money Back and quality Guaranteed" stands? As merchant also said they will not refund money back to me.
Secondly, I buy new unit not used unit,even though it's at a lower prices, afterall it's a deal right, why should it be send back for repair instead replacement of brand new unit?
Thirdly, MYDEAL.com.my had stopped responding to my queries on these matters to them because they had push all responsibilities to TAKADA and me to solve the case myself.
My point of view to MYDEAL.com.my. We consumer buy deals even though for the cheapest price from your company, we certainly have the right to receive a brand new unit and not used unit or things that needed to be send back for repair!
In this case, MYDEAL should take up the responsibilities in solving the problem on behalf of me with the merchant and not pushing it back to me to solve it myself. Is MYDEAL trying to deny their statement on "100% Money Back & Quality Guaranteed" and be unreasonable here?

Poor Selection of Groupon Malaysia's Merchant
Yes. It's Groupon Malaysia again. This round is due to the poor selection of its merchant / service provider, by providing discounted service that comes with discount price.

This happened recently based on the Air-Con Cleaning and Servicing services by the following link.

My wife was at home when we received the service on Monday.
Firstly, we have made appointment to be on Monday 19th of November, however, as my wife waited till 4pm and there is no sign of anyone coming. She made a call and to her surprise, it seems like they were not intended to come as scheduled. It was decided there and then they would come after the call. So, this wasn't much issue.
As they have come, they were scheduled to deal with the three air conditioning unit instructed by my wife. My wife have told them with regards of inefficiency of the units and those were not as cold as the normal working ones (we have 7 of the same brand at home, so we know which is working and others not).
Right, these guys came with two adults, and a young man (16-17 my wife thinks). The two adults will be working on checking and servicing while the younger one assist unpacking tools and watch over the adult working on the heat exchanger/external unit. The other guy does the inspection and cleaning inside of the house.
At approximately 4.15pm they started they work, it was a short while the guys working inside of the house when to attend the first unit, it was very fast and my wife's not sure what he had done, within minutes and inspection and cleaning it was completed, while doing cleaning, he does not bring any cloth or cleaning tool to assist with his job, and it's a surprise things get done so fast, while also reported that nothing is wrong with the unit his is cleaning.
Next he moves up stairs to clean the next two, my wife followed but she came down soon after to tend to other stuff. Few minutes later she went up to find the guy had done both, it's not my wife is fussy, but she couldn't believed that the guy had done inspecting and cleaning. She asked to confirm if both the unit was done and the guys replied both are done and working well.
Next,the outside cleaning consist of using chemical and spray into the cover of the heat exchanger unit/external unit and rinse with water. As notice with the other services provided to the neighbor of mine, they do not remove the external cover to do the cleaning, but just spraying the fluid to clean it. All jobs are done as soon in 30 minutes, all three of the air conditioning units and they have leave at 4.40pm.
Before they left, my son who was also at home asked if gas refill is done, the guys responded that there is no need for any refill as everything is in working order. The next day, other air con service guys came for our neighbor to service their air con, this is when we realized something is wrong. The service of an air conditioning unit is nearing an hour each, because during the service, we can see that they are dismounting the external unit's cover to do cleaning and gas refilling, and also testing the units before leaving.
I couldn't help to say that despite them paying for full standard price (RM120 per unit), they have got professional service and got the job done. While we paid half price through the Groupon's offer and got a dissatisfy service. We have tested the serviced air conditioning unit the past two days and find the air conditioning unit not any cooler as it were before. We compared the working ones in our house and those are comparably better in working condition. We suspect that the so call "all are well in our inspection" by the guys are not any true facts, it is questionable if these guys are even professional in this business as they do not even have appropriate tools for the work.
Half price for half resulted services, who would dare to buy anymore coupons at half price in the future? The savings we got is not going to give us any results and it is actually a waste of money. Now, tell me, would anyone pay half the price for a half working product that you couldn't use anyway.
Made a complaint to Groupon, got a fairly standard reply after two days, replied and waiting for the second reply. The first reply does sounded like nothing can be done for me by Groupon and just apologies.
I honestly think it is require by Groupon or any similar entity to provide us a good service at discount price, not a discounted service that comes with discount price.
Another Misleading Deal from Groupon Malaysia?

It is a big lies to all Groupon customers!! 1 of my worker go there for cut, wash & blow last week, it is only RM13 for all! He can choose anyone to cut for him, it is their normal price!!!! My little sister decide not to go there even she had bought the voucher. Groupon Malaysia, we are looking for the best deal, best DISCOUNT, but does not mean we are looking for the CHEAPEST PRICE. We want good quality in discounted price!!!!! Please explain!

Most people would aware that Bolehland's teachers have to file in a lot of crap documentation and key in many rubbish system in order to fill in the students' detail, students' parents' details etc.
While there is a coming long weekend this week, the teachers are not able to fill in their students marks after the exam period due to the unavailability of this infamous crappy SAPS.
