It annoys me so much when the bread cuts weird and I get a sliver as the last slice. I can't put it in the toaster or do anything with it except slap it on top of my toast cold. 😒

This is what happens when you don't harvest your green onion in a month and you fertilized earlier this year.

A lot of times I'm too lazy to make the effort to strategize and tinker with my battle setups but I get annoyed when I do poorly. The solution is to screencap the lineups of players I lose to and set up my team in the exact same way later. 🤣

I need to take pictures of things so I can zoom in to read clearly. 😅

If I see an advert for something I want to follow up on, I'll take a picture of it because I won't remember otherwise. I did not buy that durian popsicle though.

I was lightly rear ended by some kid. I took a picture of their insurance, but it was either fake or expired because insurance couldn't find that policy and wouldn't honor the claim. Just my luck.

Downloaded to share. Apparently you can buy a luncheon meat and fried egg instant noodle cake at Maxim's. I think they got pretty close and would love to try it.

They broke my heart. I'm frustrated with Zhan Wang because he promised Xu Yuan multiple times that we would try for him, but the next minute he is refusing treatment. I know he's scared and he doesn't want to be a burden to Xu Yuan, but I'm sure he can see how much Xu Yuan loves him and how much it hurts Xu Yuan when he hurts himself. I wish he could be brave too.

Upcoming cbl Ash (煙灰) premieres in August! 9 episodes, 45 minutes each. Xu Luetao, the eldest son of the influential Xu family, is a notorious playboy. His lover, a young policeman named Fei Huan, is deeply heartbroken by the constant cheating but feigns cold indifference to maintain his own dignity and pride. Following a massive, explosive argument over Luetao's behavior, Fei Huan abruptly vanishes without a trace. Luetao is left in complete shock when he sees Fei Huan at a high profile mafia meeting.

I'm excited for this one! It's produced by an HK based studio and was actually filmed in Hong Kong, so it's giving on point HK gangster movie vibes. I hope this means we'll get a grittier and darker bl. The casting call specifically asked for native Cantonese speakers so I am expecting they will do live recording for the dialogue. I can't wait. Finally no dubbing! 🥳 HK finally stepping UP. I'm hoping the script will actually be written in Cantonese so the dialogue will sound more authentic than scripts written in Mandarin and directly translated into Cantonese.

Bonus:

Kingston was a contestant on Youth With You 3, where he did a skit from the movie Infernal Affairs with another contestant from the Guangdong area. (Kingston is from Macau, Cantonese is spoken in both places.)

Kingston plays Tony Leung's character (an undercover cop). How apropos. 😂

Q: Will the dialogue in the upcoming bl "ash" be in Cantonese?

Q: Will the supporting characters also speak fluent Cantonese?

So I do think they will speak Canto and I have hope the script won't be Mandarin turned into awkward Canto although I'm kind of side eyeing Fei Huan's name because we both know that no true hker has a two character name.

They released another teaser but no one speaks!

Yes indeed. :) As expected, nothing gets by my fellow hker. A friend who went to HK complained to me about this and it's like one of the top things that confounds tourists. Then inspiration hit. 😆 Some places have made pineapple buns with pineapple filling, have you tried it before? I prefer them without honestly.
