just a little update from me, if anyone’s still around.

first let’s start with the glo up, college does wonders kids.

next i’d like to express that i want to come back to this account and i’d really like to be part of this community again.

i’ve been through a lot in my past year of life. and that might be an understatement. i’ve had ups and downs when it came to my friendships. moving away from home was an adjustment in itself. i had a boy walk into my life and then walk out like i didn’t matter. i found a best friend in a guy who turned out to be the worst thing that’s ever happened to me. i’ve nearly failed out of school. and i reached some of my lowest points. ever.

but through all of this, i’ve learned so much. i learned more in 12 months than i ever had in my first 18 years of life. i’ve found myself, ive come out of my shell, and for the first time in my life, i can say i’m happy with who i am and where i’m going. i have earned so much wisdom and maturity and i’m a better version of myself because of it.

i’m 100% me. i’m the fun-loving, outgoing, witty, kind person i was always meant to be.

when i used to write for this account, i would create the perfect version of myself and thrust that vision into my stories. i would change my demeanor depending on who i was talking to, because they wanted to talk to me, but i didn’t know who me was. i didn’t know myself, and looking back in my writing, it shows.

that’s why i feel i have something new to offer. i have a perspective on life that is a full turn from where i was a year ago. i’m by know means perfect or “healed”, i’m still the anxious, sleep-deprived, bi disaster i’ve always been. but instead of pushing away those feelings that make the full person i am, i’ve learned to cope with them, and let them be part of my life.

i’m here to offer what i have to anyone who would take time out of their busy days to listen, i feel like i have a new story to tell.
