this is a cinquedea knife fron around the 15th century i was comisioned to make for a good customer .cinquedea means five finger and refers to the width of the blade . they were usually very ornate and guilded but my skills dont go that far. its my first and my last i can tell you
the blade is 6mm stock bearing steel , 3.25 inch across the top of the blade , 1.25 across the bottom just by the point
the guard and pomel are brushed silver steel , the scales are bone with 14mm and 6 mm mosaic pins . the sheath is baked vegtan leather
