âI made really good friends on set. I sort of knew Helena Bonham Carter before, but Iâve come away with a best friend in her. In a way, it wonât end, because weâll all still keep in touch.â â Helen McCrory

My first post in a while but this is dedicated to the wonderful Helen McCrory.
Her talent was endless, I adored every role she played and I hoped to have seen her in theatre one day. She was an absolute powerhouse, who radiated female empowerment in her characters and as herself. However, she was taken way too soon and unexpectedly.
Please be kind and send love to all her dedicated fans, show the same support as you would if it was your idol that had left the earth to join the heavens.
All the love to you and please message if this is a sensitive subject and you need to talk.
Helen,
Live forever above the clouds and in the light, you angel and legend. Xxx
My obvious choice would be Helen McCrory but then if you shared with her, sheâs such a great actress sheâd just make you look bad. People would be asking for a refund for the nights I was on.
- Helena Bonham Carter on the actor she would love to do stage with.

I didnât leave you because I didnât love you. I left for you. Because I couldnât bear to have this world be your future. So I had to fight. You have to make some noise, if you want to be heard.

Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street
Look, all I'm asking for in 2021. is a movie with Helena Bonham Carter and Jinkx Monsoon in leading roles. The plot doesn't matter. For all I care, they could be baking bread and petting cats for two hours straight and I'd still enjoy it.
Corpse Bride (2005)
Helena Bonham Carter as Lady Jane Grey (Lady Jane, 1986)
Lady Jane Grey: Daughter of Frances Grey - daughter of Mary, Queen of France (Dowager Queen of France, Duchess of Suffolk and younger sister of King Henry VIII; and the Duke of Suffolk, Charles Brandon) and Henry Grey, Duke of Suffolk.
When his motherâs cousin, King Edward VI was soon to die of illness, he appointed her as the heir to the throne, instead of his sister Mary Tudor -daughter of King Henry and Catherine of Aragon. The young King was a devotee protestant and wanted to avoid England falling into the will of the Pope and the Vatican and, knowing that his older sister would make the country Catholic again, he declared her and Elizabeth, his other sister, bastards so they could not claim the throne.
The Duke of Northumberland, John Dudley, who was the Kingâs adviser after the execution of his uncles Thomas and Edward - both judged for treason, looking to use the King for their personal gain, married Jane to his youngest son Guilford Dudley, expecting him to rule the country on his behalf by controlling the Queen. The Duke was unpleasantly surprised to see how smart and strong willed the young Queen was, wanting to rule on her own, ignoring his advice.
The people of England disliked Janeâs father-in-law and supported Maryâs claim and catholic beliefs. The people joined Mary and so did weapon suppliers and later the noblemen -knowing that there was no way for Jane to win and seeking a way to survived and keep their wealth and lands, they begged for Maryâs forgiveness.
Mary was successful in her rebellion and was proclaimed Queen of England, France and Ireland, putting an end to the Lady Greyâs reign after only 9 days. Later, despite her personal desire not to end Janeâs life, Mary agreed to the execution of Lady Greyâs execution -as well as her husbandâs.
Lady Jane Grey was beheaded on February 12th, 1554 at the Tower of London, England.
