The original version of this drawing is one of my most popular but there were so many things I wanted to change so I fixed it but I know not as many people will see it as the original which I don’t even like aaahhh

Turns out that in real life it’s not just the tiny skinny ones who end up actually being trans women. Sometimes it’s the people who are built like linebackers, the people so tall they develop back issues hunching over from trying not to be the biggest person in the room, the people who can’t even find well-fitting clothing at big and tall stores, the people who “thigh-highs” barely go above the knee, the people with broad shoulders and high hairlines that bangs can’t hide. And yes a lot of these features aren’t seen as feminine or cute or beautiful. I’m sorry that I resemble stereotypical transphobic caricatures a bit too closely, and I’m sorry that acknowledging the existence of people that look like me might make getting trans acceptance from cis people a lot harder. But frankly I’m one of the lucky ones who realized things before I started balding, one of the lucky ones who has many years of youth spent taking hormones in my future to somewhat alleviate the problems that make me hate my own body. And I don’t think any of these issues makes me or anyone else less of a woman, and if no one else wants to even try to depict people like us in a flattering manner then I’ll do my damnedest to do it myself
To everyone who used this post as an excuse to say “Awooga big women 👀” in the tags please read the fucking room
On April 30th while reporting on the Students Revolution at Columbia University, CNN anchor Kasie Hunt made reference to Hind Rajab as 'A Woman Who Was Killed in Gaza." Hind Rajab was six years old.

Reading 0 enstars stories will have u saying omg eichi started a war cuz he was gay lmao.
Reading 50 enstars stories will have you saying well no that's an oversimplified way to approach the story, it does eichi a disservice and excludes keito's role, plus it's not so much that eichi started a war because he was gay for wataru as much as he almost couldnt end it and wataru needed to intervene in the nurse's office and have eichi go through with the last execution.

i keep seeing that post about how frustrating the buff guy -> petite girl type genderbending is, and i wanted to add my two cents regarding the addition of ‘just swap pronouns and don’t change the design’ approach because i think these are two sides of the same coin, as they both fail to really delve into what i think is the most interesting aspect of this design exercise.
the reason i find genderbending to be such a fun and interesting challenge is because, if you actually want to be good at it and put thought into it, you have to really consider the character’s canon gender expression and think about what it means to them and how it reflects in their outward appearance and presentation.
is this male character buff because he likes to work out / be strong, or does he aspire to achieve conventional heteronormative male beauty?
is this female character a tomboy because she likes to express herself in a more masculine way, or is she doing it to fight gender norms?
the answers to those questions should produce very different designs!
this website loves to say that gender is a spectrum, but sometimes i genuinely wonder if people actually understand what that means.
gender expression, much like gender, is also a spectrum, which is why keeping the character exactly the same won’t always work, in the same way that just making the character conventionally attractive won’t always work. but sometimes, a buff dude would actually just be a hot girl. lady bane, however, would 100% look exactly the same.
hey enjoyer of media who participates primarily in fandom of said media. whats your opinion on this female character and DO NOT use the word "girlboss", "mother/sister", or allude to her being the groups guardian. you have five seconds or else the saw trap goes off btw
hey enjoyer of media who participates primarily in fandom of said media. can you explain to me why you have decided the soft and/or kind and/or caring and typically clumsy male character is a tgirl. answer quickly or else the saw trap goes off
hey enjoyer of media who participates primarily in fandom of said media. can you explain to me why you've decided the only female character in the main cast is a tboy. and dont say its because he's "rough" or "rowdy" or "loud" or else the saw trap goes off
hey enjoyer of media who participates primarily in fandom of said media. can you explain to me why you've decided that you dislike this female character who has the same traits as a male character you love. and don't call her whiny or annoying or bitchy or a brat or else the saw trap goes off

on the other hand there are some characters that i KNOW in my heart are not cis but heres the thing . THEY wouldn't know. they would have no idea. or they're not acknowledging it. i love trans headcanons as much as the next guy but angel devil from chainsaw man does not know that he's not cis because all angel devil is thinking about is that he's got a job to do and he'd rather not be doing it but ah well its that or being killed. oh well
theres also some characters that if you took them out for drinks for like 2 hours and talked to them they would realize very quickly they arent cis. but the resources simply dont exist in the situation they are in. do you understand my vision
