Bonnie nervously checked her phone reflection, still uncertain about her new ginger hairstyle. Despite her nerves, she also felt a surge of confidence as high school was finally behind her. She was ready to embrace new experiences during the upcoming summer while continuing her relationship.
As she entered the mansion, she could hear Klaus moving around in his study. Instead of sharing photos of her new look with him, she decided to surprise him in person. Besides, she knew that her hybrid partner was not particularly tech-savvy.
Bonnie knocked twice on the door before stepping inside. "I'm back! Did you miss me? What are you working on?" She greeted him with a kiss on the cheek and casually leaned on his antique desk, preparing to tell him about her day.
Klaus couldn't help but notice everything about Bonnie's appearance. Her warm skin tone and green eyes seemed to glow even more with her new ginger hair. He couldn't quite tell if her freckles had taken on a different hue under the new hair color. Every aspect of the witch fascinated him, and she never failed to surprise him. She was undeniably beautiful, leaving him momentarily speechless.
"What's wrong?" Bonnie asked, her eyes widening. Then she remembered her recent change. "Oh! You don't like my hair, do you?"
Klaus remained silent, and Bonnie felt her nerves intensify and her palms grow sweaty. "I only meant to get a trim, but I ended up changing the color. You hate it, don't you?"
Klaus pulled Bonnie closer and kissed her passionately. "You look stunning. Your hair complements the color of your eyes."
Bonnie playfully slapped Klaus on the chest. "You had me worried! I thought you were going to tell me it looked terrible."
"I was left speechless. Simply admiring your beauty."
"You're so sappy," Bonnie giggled, planting two more kisses on his cheek. "But you're mine."
